[request] standard CCs from the dev team which work and get updated

can we plz have standard CCs, which is not "driven by the community", instead coming from the devs and have them updated and shipped with HB updates? i mean plz. i have like 50+ bots and ran only 20 of them since i bought the sessions, because all kind of issues with arelog and hb. now that hb and arelog got updated, well, the CCs don't work.

this is like a slap in the face and is incredible frustrating. i paid like tons of money for sessions and can't even use them. i can't even let them run a day straight, but it's ok, i got use to it. but now, this CC nonsense is killing me. i'm not willing to let my bots run like this and get them banned. i don't feel like depending on amateurs to doing important jobs like standard CCs and depending on their decission wether they update their CC or not. ppl like me can't afford their bots not running for days or a week even

 

This would be very difficult for them to do. They would need ccs for all specs and classes, not to mention made for leveling, bgs, arena, raids, and so on. it could be done but would be very time consuming.

 

This is called Singular. And it exists.

our default CC is singular, that's what comes with HB, there's no reason to spend more time making more CC's.

if your having issues then post a log, and we will be more then happy to help you fix the problems your having.

 

no it's not. my mages run into the mob like he is melee and autoattack until they are dead. my palas run through the mob, mob stand behind him and killing him, with him spamming healing spells. they don't even autoattack. my hunters decides to drop the target and just run away and at a point run endlessly against a wall or a hill they can't climb. and most of the time my hunters like to melee. my druids don't regcognize if mob is in front of him, behind him. when the mob moves behind them, they just stands staring at nothing until they're dead.

"working" definitly has another meaning for me than for you obv.

 

it sounds to me like you dont have it setup correctly,

how about posting a log so we can try and diagnose and then resolve the issue.

If you don't like Singular then you can make your own CC

If you don't have the skills to make your own CC ... then try and provide a log and THOROUGH details of exactly what the bot is and is not doing!

don't be like 'oh yeah it's melee'ing everything'

... tell us everything you did from start to finish and give us that log

P.S. The 4 mages i leveled this week work ***fine*** so i know that it works

 

Singular is getting huge updates, and will continue to do so. The "community driven" is absolutely amazing because it allows everyone to contribute and have a say. They've been focused on other projects, and now we have a few devs back on to Singular.

Post bugs and logs... it's the only way they can fix what's going wrong. Sure, it's frustrating getting errors... but it's hard to fix those errors if no one properly reports them.

 

Sounds like kill between hotspots is off. Also, I have 10 85's and leveled them a year ago when the CC's and profiles were not as good. I can assure you that it is your setup and not the developers.

 

since you leveled 4 mages i will start with a mage log. at some point my mage just keep running into mobs and think he's melee and stop to cast spells.

 

the singulare ccs work just fine if u bothered to reinstall the bot. several other people have had this issue or have this issue. had it myself simply just deleted the bot and reinstalled it. and Pow it works again.

nevertheless theres tons of custom ccs made for more or less evry class spec wich works aswell

First off, while I agree with the original poster that it would be nice to have some better working CCs available, I don't think it's fair to demand it from the HonorBuddy devs. HonorBuddy itself needs enough updates and maintenance that the devs would likely not have a lot of time to do CCs.

That said, I've been considering writing my own set of CustomClasses. I doubt anyone here knows me since I've mainly stuck to EQ and EQ2 in the past (with some small excursions in a few other games), but I have a long history of bot writing. I know bot logic and even though it may sound arrogant, I'm pretty good at it. I've been a programmer for 16 years now, and writing / maintaining bots is something I've been doing as a side job / hobby for the past 7 years.

 

If you are making money using bots to sell gold I will stop you at the part where you said you are using mages.

They are squishy, have weird blink logic and honestly was the hardest class for me to level using the bot. Not so much because of Cc's but because well mages are to damn squishy.

Also what spec are you using the mages with? I used frost from 1-80 than arcane 80-85.

so i did attach a log and still noone knows what is wrong.

1) ofcourse i can be wrong, but i'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with wrong setups. there are plenty of ppl having problems with CCs after HB updated.
2) i always use svn when it's possible.
3) if i have a choice i wouldn't use mages but only DKs, palas or druids. but sometimes someone make a very good price like 30€ for an account. so i take it. i know very well, mages sucks. btw. i always use frost builds for farming and leveling.
4) i will delete an reinstall HB and everything and hope it will solve my problems.

thank you for all your feedback. i'm really sorry for my random rant, but it's really frustrating, when you setup everything carefully and right and it still does not work.
