In what capacity? It varies based on encounter, comp, and whatever. My guild has also been working on different orders for the Deathwing fight for the Chromatic Champion achievement, so that varies a bit. In general I get 45-50k on Deathwing.
Hmm, I can clap in my hands if I get half that amount on Deathwing with the CC. I will have to toy around with the settings a bit more then.
using this with Questing (lvl 62), i cant get it to drink mana food, it runs around killing with like 1% mana ...
I'll do another sanity check of the code, but I combed through it pretty well last week and couldn't find what is happening. If I can't spot any thing and I find a few moments to work on this, I'll write a custom logger for you two to see if we can figure out what's going on. EDIT: I don't have a log from either of you, can one of you please submit one along with the system time that this occurred?
I'll stick it in the next rev, but you can do this yourself either in the GUI or through editing the SpecialTargets.xml. Okay, GSP, I'm sorry the performance doesn't impress you. If you feel this CC can be improved, please list specific behaviors which can be refined rather than bluntly stating that it doesn't meet your standards. If you would like to see an example of how to do so, please take a look at basically any of the feedback that Algamish and alagondor417 has posted over the past several pages or really any thread that we have responded to seriously. Thank you.
Sorry about that.. I just ran to the target dummy and got a quick log for you. I had it start a rotation and I summoned the shadowfiend. It immediately detected shadowfiend and went into alternate rotation starting at 06:24:09 PM. You can see where it casts one Mind spike then VT's, does some Mind Flay, more VT and even SW in there during the Mind spike rotation. This is just a quick target dummy log but it shows the same behavior that I experienced in Raids.
I merely mentioned it for your revision, I added it myself as well. As stated in a later post after I asked about the average DPS performance for others, I figured it must be something in the settings or stats that I have. I'm sure tinkering around or prioritizing different stats can have great effect on it's DPS. I merely said that in it's current state (thus as it runs on my laptop) it's performance is poor. I can hardly ask for someone's armory link here so I have to figure it out by other means. Never meant to insult you or your work, as I also said (in the same post) I appreciate the care and time that went into this. Regards, Liquid.
Here are two log files of the behavior, using the updated logger.cs. They look quite similar to the other log, though. In the first log, sfdebug.txt, Shadowfiend rotation begins 11:02:45 AM:538 VT and SW were not cast this time but Devouring plague was cast twice during the Shadowfiend rotation. In the second log, sfdebug2.txt, Shadowfiend rotation begins 11:07:12 AM:087 VT was cast once during the Shadowfiend rotation.
Edited my post to add, I'm dumb and didn't replace the file. I'll upload new logs in the next ~10 mins. I had put the updated logger in my backup folder of Alterboy /fail
OK, actually using the updated logger this time, here are two more logfiles: In the first log, sfdebug3, the Shadowfiend rotation begins at 11:19:29 AM:069 when the CC summons Shadowfiend. In the beginning it performs a Mind flay and a VT while Shadowfiend is out and later performs a DP in the middle of Mind Spiking. In the second log, sfdebug4, the Shadowfiend rotation begins at 11:23:24 AM:561 when the CC summons Shadowfiend. SW and VT were both cast during the Mind Spike rotation in this one.
Ugh... this is going to be a nightmare. I'll work on it. Algamish, I actually don't even have WoW installed right now, so I may need you to trial some other stuff.
Thanks for your efforts! It's appreciated. No problem. I'll try to help when I have free time available but no guarantees for today at least, I'm going to be fairly busy. btw, You have no WoW... You're making me want to uninstall WoW and re-install/re-sub to SWTOR. I'm pretty positive that's where you're hiding, too.
Update to the latest rev. Not the prettiest fix, but it should take care of it until we can work up a cleaner way to do it. Yeah, I haven't played since SW:TOR came out. Part of that is because I blew away my system switching to an SSD as the O/S drive, part of it is that after coming back from Blizzcon, I really lost all motivation to play until Pandas. The other developer on this project does still raid in a pretty competitive guild, but he's got quite a bit going on right now in both his personal and professional lives.
I just did a very quick test w/ latest rev. and it did two perfect Mind spike rotations. Thanks for the quick fix. Also, yeah I'm pretty bored right now with WoW and think I will be until MoP is out. I'm probably going to let my subscription end in the next month or two until the xpac is out. I very well may go back to SWTOR (and that likelihood is will be immensely multiplied when TORBuddy or whatever Bossland calls it is released).
Changes in Latest Revision (Revision 756): Confirmed fix for casting DoT's while in Shadowfiend MindSpike rotation Restored facing mechanics for Mind Spike and Mind Sear rotations. Added Void of the Unmaking as an ignore target in the accompanying SpecialTargets.xml Let me know if you guys have any trouble with the facing mechanics (particularly for Mind Sear), we may need to add some math in there to prevent you from spinning around instances like a top.
