I'm getting the following error: Logging in... Error - Endscene hook failed: Could not find Device. Attached to WoW with ID 4176 After searching the forums as much as I could...in the last 30 minutes. I saw to change to DX9, which I have. which helped get passed my first error which was it not logging in, in any way. Now I get this error. Just purchased HB and would really love to get this started. Not sure why there isn't an easily accessible/find able instruction booklet of some sort. but anyway! if you could please help that would be very very very much appreciated.
are you sure you have WoW Set to Directx9 mode? and your running in windowed mode? read this guide and see if it helps you out any. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...5-quick-hb-guide-presentation-fast-setup.html but from what the error seems like is that for whatever reason its not finding your graphics card, or there is something else going on, what i recommended is that you update your graphics card drivers and see if that helps.
Just uninstalled, and reinstalled. yes i'm an in windowed mode AND on DX9 My Graphics card Drivers are up to date. Still having the same issue. *checked the guide you posted. I'm never able to get the Step 3 to load up.*
what kind of graphics card do you have? are you trying to run wow in a virtual machine? what OS are you running? are you sure wow is running in 32bit mode? this can be checked by using the launcher and clicking prefrences. or looking at the bottom left of the login screen, it should say the version number and x86 release.
I am using a Radeon HD6950. i'm running wow, the normal way you run wow. I don't even really know what you mean by virtual machine so I doubt i'm using one. My OS is Windows 7 and I am definitely running wow in 32bit mode. as it does in fact say x86 release
try installing the .net framework 3.5 sp1 Download: .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1 (full package) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details let me know how it goes.
before you install the .net framework, right click honorbuddy.exe and click "Run As Administrator" and see if that fixes it
ok so, before i did the .net framework stuff. i just restarted my comp for whatever reason, and at least after everything else you helped me with it has logged in and attached to my game. So, thank you for the help. i'll be back in if I have any more absurd problems thanks again
