GM whisper?

I was questing with Hb and i was at work checking it from my cell phone and I see a message in the chat box.. in the same text and color as if the server was being shut Down or restarted. And in caps it said LOG OFF and it showed up where the raid warning would be also.. was wondering if any1s seen this before.. is this one of the ways to see if ur a bot?

 

if it was a GM it would of said "Blizz" where the name of the person was so idk, probably not a gm, although if you have a picture that might explain things.

 

Well normally a whisper wouldn't concern me.. but it wasn't a traditional whisper.. it was in the same form as if the server was restarting ... u know that yellow text they spam every 15 seconds.. there was no sending name.. and like I said all yellow in caps LOG OFF and it went up top like a raid warning

My guess is that it was a /e --> ive had a lot of fun trollin' ppl with "Server Restarts"

 

But an emote would still say their name. This just said .. LOG OFF

 

do you have DBM instally by any chance? cus im pretty sure they for some reason added a countdown for this kinda behavior lol mine did same

 

No dbm . Just a bag addon

 

They did rolling restarts today starting at 10am PST. My guess is the message is simply something from that.

 

Ok I hope so I just never remember them saying LOG OFF lol that's what I'm hoping
