Any time new content comes out there will be new issues popping up. It is normal and the only way HB will know about the issues, is when it happens
There would have to be the normal version and a cata version, because blizzard said that if you dont have the expansion then you will not see the new world and it will be the same. You have to buy the first 2 in order to get the 3rd, so we still need both version when it comes out. However i bet they will find a new way to navigate the new world when we cross that bridge.
HonorBuddy, and gatherbuddy, will need to get there hands on the Beta when it comes out, so they can start working on and fixing the problems that may arise early!
Im sorry but thats not right.. they have said somewhere on MMo-champion that classic wow world will change to! If it dident they would have a BIG problem.. When you tell a frend they should try the game.. and he gets 10days trail.. then you cant playtogther.. So that normal world.. WILL change either if you have Cata or classic.. you just wont beable to come level 60+ and so on
Tbh, why would you want to bot the first few days of a new expansion anyway? I really enjoy those first few days, getting to know the new areas, places etc. Makes me a better botter anyway as I can develop my new profiles faster and more efficiently after i've seen most places and done a few quests. Just my two cents worth anyway!
The biggest problem I foresee with Cataclysm is going to be the underwater world and the terrain phasing.
I'm 100% sure vanilla will change whether people like it or not, or they will sit seeing cataclysm players run off cliffs like lemings.
No, the entirety of existing Azeroth is going to change; how can you instance everything? thats clearly a bit thick, if it was sectioned off like DK start area there would be a small percentage of people around, as not everybody will expand. It's okay sectioning an inadequate area that you spend an hour in, but not an entire game world.
Yeah, it's going to totally ruin all the work put into profiles made before hand. Ah well. Luckily there are a lot of experienced profile makers that can help with getting everything back up to shape.
Cataclysm will definitely bring bugs, imo. There will be a LOT more doodads and stuff laying around. Not completely sure about this, but close to it.
Don't know if this will or can happen. If anyone get a hold of cataclysism beta release of some sort if would help out solving some of the problems that lie ahead. Even though Betas change! In my opinion, if you play World of warcarft you should play the content with your class to max level so you know the world. I made wrong mistake in that I didnt want to play northrend. I know nothing about it now =/ Sound like an idiot in guild haha
