Anybudy here bot for a living? I got a couple of computers and dont like working so im considering quiting my job and setting up 15-20 bots and just sitting there playing video games monitoring them. Is this a good idea? If anybudy here has made a living botting in wow how many bots ect do u run at once, how much can you make, how hard is it to monitor and keep 15-20 bots going? The idea would be to level them to 80 asap with honorbuddy, then with gatherbuddy max mining/herbing, have my pvp gear and sell within 3-4 weeks? Anyways your advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.
I'd be so scared of a banwave... although I would think after a week or two of selling gold and accounts you would have already paid off the cost of the account?
Aye, if something goes south then you could be hurting pretty badly as it would take time to get everything up and running again.
Not only that but the fact that so many people sell gold now that its as low as 1$ per k and with that many bots you would just ruin the market for the servers you play. So change of servers would be necessary. Webpages always say there full after awhile.
Gets harder and harder everyday and will get way more harder in the future. More people are sellin gold, the price keeps going down and down for what you can sell it for, wont be suprised if companies will be buying for under a dollar soon. Gatherbuddy is growing also, community is getting alot bigger, sooner or later there realy just will be no point in selling gold, atleast to reseller companies anyways.
yer, botting would be incredibly insecure job imagine youd have to register yourself as a self employed after a while too
Risk vs reward keeps getting worse. gold prices and demand are down, accounts dont go for very much either. have to deal w/ bans from selling gold, player reports, etc. its a fun side project but i wouldnt want to depend on it
the demand at least is extreme - ask the one who really knows however the goldprice is on ebay on 22 EUR / 10k - there are too many chinese producers
It is possible, If you can farm 5k gold a day per account, thats $10 a day, (If you were to sell for 2$ to gold selling companys), and have 5 accounts going a day, would be $1500 a month, but then you need to take out the monthly cost of accounts/electricity. Technically possible...
i would have to agree with everyone who posted above. Best thing to do is find other players on your server who you can sell too. There are more than a few ppl who buy gold and are tired of paying the chinese resell price. I have had someone ask me to be there supplier for 5/k, why refuse. In all ends, it all depends on you, your server economy, and luck; so i wish you plenty of it if you want to sell gold for a living.
I make $800 a month botting, it pays for rent completely. I work as well, but the $800 allows me to be much, much more comfortable.
I dont bot for a living but i bought an 07 honda 650 Dual Sport for $3500 cash from botting and im 17 it can be done
I make a decent amount from botting, but in order to do that you don't sell for $1/1k or anything silly like that. Selling to those companies for that little is for the casuals who have 1 bot and want to make a bit of extra pocket money a week. If you are serious you sell to private buyers.
minus cost of prepaids, electricity, vanilla accounts that get banned very quickly and of course you need to have a bit of money for the start to fund machine you're gonna bot on and obviously the accounts czesc radi co tam hes probs been selling when the gold prices were higher, so would take much longer now than earlier
you must be a fcking morron to even consider quitting a job to bot. Unless you live in asia and even here its getting hard to make it.
