Explorer Title/Achievement by Synik. Made for use with HB2 only. Well I saw the original profile by Mess1337 and thought it was a great idea, however I saw the method in which it was built and as such I decided I couldn't babysit the profile as much as was going to be required so I didn't download it. A day or so later I read a post by nesox detailing a couple of previously unmentioned tags which allowed me to build this profile in such a way that it is now mostly automated and will not need much manual intervention. Only suitable for Level70+ What does it do? These profiles will attempt to complete the explorer achievement on their relative continent/islands. The way it works is that all the locations are defined by a hotspot which are coupled with tags to prevent hotspot randomisation and set maximum time spent per hotspot. This means the discovering will be a continuous flow one after the other. Someone asked if this kept going to the same hotspot over and over, the answer is no. All the hotspots contained within the profile are visited only once in a specific order. I have decided to wait for the implementation of the stuck protection before proceeding with adjusting any more hotspots as it would be far too much work to keep adjusting something that will eventually correct itself. Are there any profiles for other continents coming? Kalimdor is in the works currently and will be released in a few days. Outlands will be done on land mount after Kalimdor is completed and then a GB version of Outland will appear a short while after. Due to the nature of Northrend I will either wait got the GB plugin coming for HB or I will make one in strictly GB at least until I can work round it. So it just explores unexplored zones? To a degree yes. This profile will explore ALL zones required by the Explorer achievement. As such this profile contains no vendors for repair/food/ammo and nor does it contain mail box locations for mailing. How to run? Eastern Kingdoms Step1. Load part1 then move your character to Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale and hit start. Step2. Go through the portal leading to Ghostlands by either foot or flight. Once through load part3 and hit start. Step3. Manually fly to Isle of Quel'Danas to complete. Kalimdor Step1. Catch boat to Rut'theran Village, go through portal and run straight though Darnassus. Start boat when out of Darnassus. Step2. Catch the boat from Auberdine to Azuremyst Isle, run onto the land and run the bot. Step3. Start at a point near Auberdine in Darkshore. Current Problems/Issues 1. Until the stuck prevention is up and running accordingly within HB I advise all users to run the profile with mount unchecked. 2. If the bot is stopped or crashes it will attempt to start the whole profile over again, there is nothing I can really do to prevent this other than suggest you manually finish the area you were last in and then edit the completed zones out of the profile. 3. A hotspot is said to have a 70yard radius and as such the profile might not be mapped deep enough to cover all points required to explore, if you find a spot like this please see how to report it further down. 4. I have tried to make this profile as neutral as possible but it is not perfect, if you encounter enemy NPC issues from towns/cities please report it using the method described further down. 5. Occasionally HB will determine that the quickest route is through an enemy town, if this happens please report it using the method described further down. How to report a problem? Report an unexplored segment; Please post a reply with the Zone name and then the name of the sub-zone, you can find out the sub-zone name via your achievment tracker for the zone. An example would be "STV - Ruins of Aboraz". If this is not done like this then there is nothing I can/will do about fixing the issue. Report enemy mob/town issue; Provide the zone name, either coordinates or a hotspot value provided by HB and a short description of the problem. An example would be "Western Plaguelands - 56, 77 - stuck in enemy town". If this is not done like this then there is nothing I can/will do about fixing the issue. Liked this profile? isnt this the same profile as mess then? why should we have 2 people with the same profile, you should of worked on kalimdor instead..
For a start the only similarity between this profile and the one already released by Mess1337 is that the ultimate purpose for them is the same, the method in which these run are completely different. Secondly I am working on the complete achievement which will include Kalimdor, Outlands and Northrend on top of the Eastern Kingdoms profile I have already provided.

Kalimdor will be released tomorrow afternoon, already half way through it. Also expect a ground mount run of Outlands within the next few days.
Stranglehorne valley, 32 75, my character walks near a tree and gets bugged. Doing it on a shaman, with ghost wolf and no mount.
Ok give me an hour or so and I will adjust it as best I can. I think the problem will be easier to avoid once HB2 has got stuck prevention running as it will just move around until it no longer gets stuck, however until then I think more of these problems will arise.
That is why both Outlands and Northrend will be done strictly with GB initially until the GB plugin is released at which point I assume I could make profiles aimed at HB in order to complete
Its very Tauren + Kodo mount unfriendly :S, dont think its your fault. I think the meshes are the problem. Got stuck like 25 times already now only got 3 zones done.
Herleybob is correct, it appears there is nothing I can really do until some stuck prevention is implemented into HB2. Perhaps even some navigation changes which address kodo+player heights may be in order but that is out of my hands and may not even be viable. Also, Kalimdor will be up in roughly 2-3hrs.
Currently in Westfall. All working brilliantly except for 'Rise of the Defiler' in Blasted Lands has not been discovered. I know this isn't the report type you wanted, but I'm reluctant to stop the profile at this point as it's doing so well. HB2 Beta 5, btw. I should also add that I had to manually move it from inside of a town in Duskwood (Darkshire). Got stuck in an endless loop of guards coming at me. This happened twice, once while exploring duskwood itself and again while coming through to progress to the rest of the Eastern Kingdoms. As I am now in Westfall, I almost had the same thing happen in Sentinel Hill, however I got out of it without intervention from myself by killing them quickly enough for my 'combat' to drop off. Mounted up, ran away as another guard chased me out. Killed it, carrying on. I hope this helps.
