Okey so, i was banned just a week ago and figured after laying low for 7 days i would try again. Setted up the bot and viewed it for 20minutes until i got a DC. I knew i was banned.
The mail i got from them they didnt even state which character was involved.
So, to the real question even though it's "only" 72 hours. Would it be possible to get the ban appealed seeing as im an active raider and really, im not sure they even have evidence for the ban.

Well, this ban might have been just because of the trading of in-game property with real currency..
Anyways, I wouldn't suggest denying botting, 72 hours are better than further investigating and most likely end up at the same 72 hours or more..

I can clearly see that. But still, it might have been the reason for the ban.
I was caught botting mithril.. Ended up with this mail:

"This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy."

Well i tried appealing it, they pretty much said "case closed" since they had evidence. Just thought i put it out here for those trying to appeal their 72 hour suspension!
