11 Accounts banned

Hello 2 days ago all my accounts got banned at the same time (they were offline), I started appealing them one by one at first they were removing the bans then they started making it a 72h ban, and now they want an ID to continue their investigation, note that I didnt appeal them all at once, but one at a time got 4-5 more accounts left to recover but all of them have unreal names, any tips? I was also banned for Abuse of the Economy at around 18:10 +2GMT 2 days ago, I was farming in Uldum 16h/daily private profile no plugins, singular cc

Depends how good u are with photoshop, i usually make fake ids in it by simply putting random picture and changing the name to what fits me. Tho i don't have that much accounts so idk what can i suggest since i was never in a situation like this. Maybe try mine solution for few of them where the most of the gold is and see how it goes.
Dunno what else u could do, maybe if u have the keys for the expansions alongside with secret q/a u could tell them when u created the acc u didn't think that u will need the real name for it or smth like this but i doubt that will work for all 11. Be creative

Honestly if u are scared maybe its not a bad idea to lay low for the next few days to see will the banns cool a bit or be at the same/higher rate then in last few days.
Also u can't say HB is detected and ppl not to use it until update is up, probably it has nothing to do with the HB , the problem is mayb in the botter because either u ran it for to long and post x amount of auctions which raised the flag at blizzard

 

Dont know if you meant to quote me, i was more wondering where he'd gotten this from, as it's not posted on the forums and i seriously doubt is some kind of "magic" flaw in HB that would only target some.

 

Its only targetting the hardcore farmers. All the casual botters who do 2 hours of BGs per day are left unharmed.
Hence their filter has to do with the stuff hardcore farmers do. Honorbuddy is undetectable as a program, however character pathing pattern it creates when used is not undetectable.

If you run any farming profile for longer than 16 hours you will get banned and its automatic, no GMs involved what so ever.

Its the same type of bot-catcher they've used for almost a year, however this one is more advanced. Honorbuddy has been fairly untouched simply because of how it uses pathing. I strongly suggest not to use profiles which has a ton of waypoints (hotspots), its much better letting the bot figure out by random which way to take from point A to point B.

What im gonna to tell is, the auctions is not that problem so much ppl used it in the past too and there arent so many banns like this.

I dont say there is a bannwave, but something is wrong there.

I never said its Honorbuddy problem, maybe it is, maybe not, but it needs an update if the ban is to increase.

i can tell you whats wrong, people are reporting you.. i was just in Northend boosting my low level Raf accounts and getting the charms for valentine day quest.
i got a GM tell ,telling me I've had a numerous amounts of bot reports. i told him i'm a very quiet player and usually don't talk to people.

luckily i was online when this happened (2am). you'd be amazed how many times someone probably reports you. he told me i had 6 reports.

I remember one person was mad at me for getting alot of kills(for the charms) and they said they were reporting me.

Yeah, I would not advise to do this. It is pretty much committing fraud by pretending you are someone else. They are forced to report it to your authorities if they find out (unless you live in a cool country ofc)

Yes , but if u are stupid and make 1k+ auctions every day each day it can be a bit weird to see u always on the ah, posting the same things over and over again.
Idk i am not a hardcore botter but thats my personal opinion so fell free to do whatever u thinks its correct.

I don't know about other countries but I'm pretty sure that faking a government ID in the US, such as a DL will get you some jail time, or a nice fine at the very least. I don't know that Blizz would check out the veracity of a submitted ID, but then I don't know that they would not. I've only had Blizz ask for a photo ID once (and it was on a fake name account) but I was willing to let it go rather than take the chance.

Just have to ask yourself is the account (s) worth the risk?

By the way, after that incident I started using willing-to-help friends' and relatives' names on my "faked" accounts, just in case I needed to produce an ID in the future...lol.
