Hey all, long time user of other bots here and really want to try this one out now. So here's the deal, when I open it nothing happens but there is a ghost task in the task manager. I've read a bunch of posts from the past and here's what I've checked: There are no logs (folder is empty) I'm on win7 64 bit with all current updates so .net is up to date Everything is ran as admin Wow is in DX9 mode Any ideas? I can't think of anything else to try.
Trying to update right now... 3.5.1 .NET is installed but it's trying to download and install 4.0 .NET... this is what you want me to do? I've seen on other threads NOT to update to 4.0. Man, this is a lot of work for a bot, never seen one this complicated ;-)
I had this issue, redownload the bot copy and past from the download to your bot folder should fix it.
Ok just installed SP1, didn't help... Yes I've used a fresh copy of HB and yes I'm logged on my character. This is getting ridiculous, paid for a bot that won't even open. Not one other program has ever given me any trouble including bots for multiple games. What is the return policy like? Unless you can help me out Tony...
that doesnt mean that its Hb's fault control panel-programs-windows features on or off and again, make sure that all windows important updates are installed
Right... never said it's HB's fault. The point is everything you are telling me to do is a re-iteration of the guides and old posts, all of which I have said are done. All updates are installed, just like you've said time and time again. I am trying one last thing, going to see if I can't run wow and HB in VMWARE through XP, if this doesn't work then I guess I chalk the money up to a lesson learned, should have tried the 1 day before committing to this software. Here's hoping this works!
the problem is in your end, what i mean is if there is something corrupted in your OS you must fix it first for an XP machine you have to install this Download: .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1 - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details i know what you mean but if you are patient everything will be ok
Ok, if anyone digs this thread up later here's what I did: VMWare and Windows XP... easy easy easy, lol... Windows 7 was problem still not figured out, will post here if I ever do. Oh, and compared to pirox this bot is amazing... good job HB!!!
