Hmm you know that might work if HB will auto-attack something that the /attack command targets... lemme try it out. Good idea! EDIT: Sadly, HB will not move to a target to auto-defend if the /attack command is issued. Probably because the character is not technically in combat until the mob notices him.
Okay I may have it. It is a PAIN in the BUTT workaround, but basically I set it to manually target and cast a spell based on which class you are. There is a LOT of pausing during the abomination section, but this is all to make sure you get every abom. The extra time from pausing is to make sure the pull spells aren't on cooldown (especially paladin and DK). But about an extra minute or two per run is a small price to pay if it makes it 100% AFK! It also will pause in front of the Slaughterhouse for 45 seconds after killing all abominations so you can face-pull the non-elites and the Black Guard Sentries. Then it rolls the Baron, loots, and starts over. Please test this 100% AFK version! Let me know how it goes! Try to let it run for 10-20 runs or more to see if it breaks. It will break only if it can't kill all the aboms and other stuff at the end reliably. EDIT: Forgot to switch loot back off! Download this one instead (if you d/l'ed the other one in the last 5 mins). View attachment Deathchargers Reins Farming - Baron Rivendare Endless Farm v1.1.xml
I didn't change anything that had anything to do with the gates. Can you try it with a fresh HB install?
Testing this while I type the message. I will update this post as long as I have time to watch the bot. Series Testing Round 1: Testing Environment: HB 2.0.0.5800 existing installation. CustomClass: Singular2 SVN (rev. 605) + ILoveAnimals 2.4 by HandNavi. Enabled Plug-ins: Refreshment Detection and Bug Submitter (All other plug-ins are disabled). Other variables: I've cleared the meshfiles for Stratholme just to make sure it's all new and fresh. Round 1: It was doing fine up to the point where it killed ramstein. The doors opened and the bot ran inside after killing a few (not all) of the non-elites waves. While the Black Guard Sentries were parading outside, the bot was trying to get into the Baron's chambers (and the doors were sealed ofc). I had to stop the bot, kill the sentries, the baron, bring myself back outside and reset the instance. Round 2: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 3: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Noticed 1 thing (nothing important). After killing the Baron, for some reason it starts looting some (not all) of the Abominations outside while on it's way out. I've seen this happen on round 2 as well even though looting is switched off. Round 4: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Same short looting on Abominations as round 2 and 3 so it seems to happen. Round 5: Am going out for about 40 minutes (RL things). Check my loot in bags to determin the amount of runs it made when I'm back. Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Loot thingy. Round 6: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Loot thingy. Round 7: Got stuck on 2 lantern poles and a directional sign on his way out. HB didn't detect stuck so no unstuck procedures. He must've been stuck there for about 15 minutes looking at the logs. Some errors in the logs about "System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException" and "InvalidObjectPointerException". A manual side move was enough to get him going again. Round 8: More or less same as round 1. It took a very long time to kill the Abominations, and it seemed for a moment it would miss 1 (timer was running out, but it came in aggro range). It killed Ramstein this time, but went inside to the Baron's chambers while the non-elites are walking outside, probably due to that same timer ran out. I had to stop the bot, kill the non-elites, the sentries, the baron, bring myself back outside and reset the instance. I will restart HB to see if the exceptions that happened the last round are not the cause of this. Round 9: HB restarted. No stucks on the lantern poles on it's way out. Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Loot thingy is something else I realized after keeping an eye on the HB details. The looting occurs until the second timer runs out after the Baron is killed. As soon as the coordinates for the entrance appear in status, the looting stops. So this is no loot thingy, but programmed behaviour. Round 10: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 11: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 12: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 13: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 14: It missed 1 abomination, therefor getting stuck at the door (as you predicted) The timer ran out while not having killed em all. After I manually killed the last one (while leaving the bot running) and kept him outside till all non-elites were dead and the sentries came it went on it's jolly way. Seems that it's not 100% trustable how it's setup now. It went out and reset the instance and went back inside. btw this round dropped Runeblade of Baron Rivendare - Item - World of Warcraft Round 15: It killed everything up to Ramstein, but missed the Sentries, therefor running around the door of the Baron's chambers. After forcing it outside to kill the sentries it continued to kill baron, and went outside the instance for a reset. Since it's the second miss I decided to restart HB yet again (close and restart). Looking in the logs shows another "TargetInvocationException" and "InvalidObjectPointerException" at the same timeframe as Ramstein and the sentries. Round 16: HB restarted. Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 17: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 18: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 19: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Round 20: Finished properly, went out and reset the instance and went back inside. Conclusion so far (am still running this but with a different CC): It works, but not 100% AFK-able (at least not for my setup). Due to HB errors (the exceptions) and missing abominations in the set timer, it fails to complete it 100% all the time. My biggest concern are those errors. It seems they are the biggest cause for the profile to fail. Once they occur in the logs, it gets stuck or misses essential mobs to kill in order to progress trough to the Baron. Question is, where do they come from? I will try another CC later to see if the issue lies in there (though I suspect not). Observations: There always seem to be 9 Abominations, however the are not always the same kind so we can't make a profile on that because it's different every time. The balance between Venom Belchers and Bile Spewers is not constant enough to be able to be used. If they can be tossed together on a heap for killcount, then we could try a grindarea to kill 9 of these? Ramstein is always spawning after the 9 kills so that could be used for a killcount/progress check. There are always 4 sentries, so that could be used for killcount too (at least if those results are accurately counted). Series Testing round 2: Testing Environment: HB 2.0.0.5800 existing installation. CustomClass: HazzDruid v3.9.2. Enabled Plug-ins: HazzFace (CC Requirement), Refreshment Detection and Bug Submitter (All other plug-ins are disabled). Other variables: Made a clean PC restart so everything is cleared out of memory. Round 1: In Progress... Failed due to CC. Test aborted! The CC has problems moving to targets while having aggro. It's just standing and waiting doing nothing. Therefor the test can't be concluded with this CustomClass since it would require manual interference all the time.
So far done 3 rounds 100% afk just starting the 4rd one. 5runs done ill post if anything goes wrong later on. Runs taking a average of 10-15m. Pretty good profile, +rep. Using: HB 2.0.0.5800 plugins: Refreshment detection, Bug Submitter. CC: EzRet.rev30 Edit: 11 runs all working 100% with no interaction from me. The only problem i have is that after every 5 dungeons/hour it gives a error "you have entered too many instances" the char get teleported outside and walk's to the outside gate smashing is head on him till i stop and start the bot again. No others issues so far.
Thank you both for testing! And I really appreciate the tedious log-keeping, LiquidAtoR. It helps a lot. The issue with the bot getting stuck on things and not moving around them correctly seems to be an issue with the newest version of HB. People in the release thread are talking about that a lot, so I'm hoping that will get fixed by the devs. I have also seen this issue and I don't think it's anything relating to my profile. If it seems to happen in certain places, I can add a blackspot for those lamp posts. (I can't help but envision the bot slamming its face on a street post like in an old Charlie Chaplin movie, or something ) Batept, I can tell you are using a paladin like me. (I ran this profile for 15 runs yesterday with zero issues). Pallies have the longest wait times in the courtyard to make sure Hand of Reckoning can refresh. I wonder I should add that longer time to all classes. Most of the other classes only wait 3 seconds because they have a spammable pull spell (like Shoot or Moonfire or Ice Lance). LiquidAtoR, which class is your character? I'm going to tweak the wait times for it and ask you to re-test if you don't mind. If this doesn't work, then I may need to just make the bot run a few small circles around the path of each abom to pull it. It'll look like a fairy doing it, but it might be more efficient.
Testing: feral druid lvl 85. Looting off. Testing Environment: HB 2.0.0.5800 existing installation. CustomClass: Singular2 SVN (rev. 605) + ILoveAnimals 2.4 by HandNavi, Enabled Plug-ins: Refreshment Detection, Bug Submitter and LogMeOut! (All other plug-ins are disabled). Run 1: got stuck on lamppost, was unstuck by itself after a while. Pulled all abominations fine, kill of baron went smooth, run out went smooth, reseted instance fine. Run 2: Missed 2 abominations on the first pass, but the macrospam got em fine. Killed Baron but for some reason it didnt shut off looting after the baron and started backtracking to loot everything. Turned it off manually. Run 3: Stuck on lamppost agian, it got itself unstuck. WOW DCed right before the abominations event, so it didnt finish this run. Run 4,5&6: Fell asleep and woke up just now. Some error with WOW, the toon was trying to move to the right no matter what i did, it was stuck on moving right, real wierd, had to relog to sort it out. Run 7: Everything went smooth, now ill catch up on some sleep after this run, its a serverrestart anyways this morning for some reason. Run 8: Nothing to report here actually. Everything went ok. Run 9: Missed one abomination, so it started to bang its head agianst the door. I cant see how the bot could solve this so i stopped it and finished this run by hand, Run 10: Missed the black guards, so was banging its head agianst the door to the baron. Stopped the bot and finished by hand. Gonna take a break here, reload most stuff and so on. do dailies etc.
I'm sorry that I forgot to mention it. I guessed that the CustomClass would give it away (ILoveAnimals). I'm running a Feral Kitty level 85 for this. No problem retesting this, I can produce something from tomorrow (Wife's gonna visit an aunt so besides the kids and dogs I have the PC's to myself ). However I will probably run a test with the standard feral CC that comes with Singular to see if those exceptions reappear. As soon as they appear, it starts running into lanterns and signs and skips things. And since Baron is only handing me his Runeblades (can't even use em on my druid ffs), I have a few more runs to go. Already had over 300 done by hand to get this mount, so what's 20 more Ghoro, it will stop looting as soon as it goes trough the gates from Slaughter Square. I've noticed same behaviour, it has to do with looting switching on for Baron, and it switches off again as soon as it starts pathing back. At least that's what it does with me so far.
Yeah, i saw that you wrote that now in your reports. will test it next time it bugs out on me. Thank you for the information.
@Ghoro, When you have the stuckmoments, do you get the same errors in the logs as I have by chance? I meant these "System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException" and "InvalidObjectPointerException". Just curious as other people running different classes don't report em, so it might be tied in the CC. I didn't run with FPSWare's CC yet as I didn't have the time to set it up properly and watch it (timewise). Hazard's CC doesn't do the movement when it has casters and melee (I've tried it a few times with no avail). Last option is to revert to default Singular Feral class to see how that behaves as well.
In the release thread (page 2 and 3) people are mentioning they are now getting stuck in profiles that never used to cause stucks before. I imagine that's a serious enough issue that the devs will look into it pretty quickly. It may not be related to the CC being used (or it may, I'm not a dev ) http://www.thebuddyforum.com/releases/46712-release-honorbuddy-2-0-0-5800-a.html
Posted there as well now. I suggest to wait with any changes untill this is sorted out. As we suspect it might not be your profile after all but something else that is interfering with the results (at least on a feral druid).
The delay after the pull spells in the Slaughterhouse area varies by class right now, which may be the cause of paladins always aggroing the non-elites/black guards reliably and other classes not (because they are out in the courtyard longer waiting for spell cooldowns). That part is something I can tweak now, if there is an issue with some mobs not being aggro'd.
I put this testing 100% afk version on the top post to get more people to try it out. Besides stuck issues, hopefully it works pretty well, but let me know.
I'm not sure if this has been tested on a Death Knight or not but my Death Grip has a 35 second cooldown for frost/unholy while Dark Command is 8 seconds and just as viable as a taunt. Just used Ctrl + H in Notepad++ and switched those out really fast. Thoughts: I haven't thought this through much but what about the interactwith custombehavior? It does essentially right click on it right? (Wouldn't this end up attacking?) Was a forced settings to a high pull distance and frantic run-to points not working? The only thing really hampering using conditions is an event to hook onto so it would need to be simply timed, how annoying.
I appreciate the feedback on the DK cooldowns. I was thinking Dark Command but put Death Grip as the 8-second taunt. I'll change that. The interactwith behavior may work to pull (and may not), but the problem is there is always a different mix of the two types of abominations and they path around in their little areas. The "pull distance" is not the distance that the bot decides the mob is in its way (which I don't think you can manually increase), but rather the distance the bot will pull on a mob it has deemed "in the way". The "in the way" distance is based on mob level vs. character level, so an 85 will only pull mobs that are very close to its RunTo path, which in this case is unfortunate. Ideally what I would like to do is set the whole courtyard as a GrindArea and set the bot to GrindUntil the chat log reads that Ramtein is coming, but HB can't quite do that yet. Since the Baron yells each time a new group comes out (Ramstein, Black Guard Sentries, himself), it would make it really easy and efficient. But alas Edit: My backup plan if this current method doesn't test well is to re-write the path the bot takes through the Courtyard to be manic little circles for each abomination. It would look ridiculous and quite obviously bot-like if a GM were actually watching, but since the chances of that are infinitely small, it may be worth it if it makes the profile 100% AFK.
I scanned thru every logfile i had on those two errors and didnt find ANY. Its 66 logs scanned and i use 2 ferals for my botting so there is your answer. EDIT: im an idiot, i searched agian without the quotes and got 2273 hits. it has happend 2273 times in those 66 logs.
