Hello, It would be great if someone could help me. I'm looking for a profile that automates the process of posting auctions, canceling all auctions that have been undercut and taking all mails out of the mailbox using tsm.
Yeah, I already tried to get his profile to work. It scans all my items to post them and when it starts to post them my character just runs away from the auction house so it closes. My char doesn't wait there for all auctions to be posted. So I hoped someone could create a very basic "post, cancel, get items from mail" profile.
To get the profile I linked to work, just use these files.. Remember to delete the TSM you have already - because this is an older version and the author changed alot of things since then. You should keep your settings though..
Thanks Inrego. Most of it works now, but my main problem remains. It does a post-scan and starts posting my auctions. But as soon as it has finished scanning my character starts running away from the auctionhouse, closing it. He posts like 2-4 auctions before the auctionhousewindow closes while running away. Seems like there is a wait-timer missing or something. Maybe something is wrong with my LibAce3/LibStub addon? I don't really have a clue. Edit: I got it to work now. I don't know how I did it haha. I redownloaded the Lib addons - didn't work. I updated HB - didn't work. I changed the name of my Ace3 addonfolder to "AceAddon-3.0" - the Ace3 addon isn't shown any longer in my addon screen at all. BUT the profile is working now. Strange, but I'm happy Thanks to Toney and Inrego!
Not sure what I'm missing, but this just keeps posting everything for 5G. Any idea what would cause this? Where can I find a log to post?
The pricing is all done by TSM. So if you have a problem with that, you need to take a look at your TSM settings. The fallbackprice for all auctions is 5g by default. The treshhold (the lowest amount of gold you are willing to sell the item for) is 1g by default. You need to adjust these values.
Right, I saw those settings, but isn't TSM supposed to undercut items that were found on the AH? For example, I do a search for Krol Blade and see it selling for 6999 on AH. TSM goes ahead and posts it for 5G anyway, despite the fact that the item was found. Is there another addon I need other than the two provided above?
Below your fallbackprice, there is an option which is set to 500% by default. When your fallback is 5g it will undercut all auctions up to 25g (500% of your fallback price). If the cheapest auction is more expensive than those 25g, for example 6999g, tsm will post your item at your fallback price. This is an option to ensure you are not going to post auctions waaaayyy too high.
Hmm, seems like I've got a new problem: The canceling doesn't work for me. It does a cancelscan but it doesn't press the cancel-macro. Posting works fine.
Did you have the files from my thread from before, or just used the big zip file Inrego posted? Sounds like you're either missing the right cancel.lua, misstyped the cancel macro or you bound it to something that's not F2. Do you have Lib: Stub installed and enabled in your Addons directory? I'll update my thread with cleaner info (mostly since Inrego just posted the whole addon already modified) and upload my latest version later, but if it doesn't work now, it won't work with the one I'm currently using, as the core code is the same.
I got the same problem . After the addon is done with the search for all undercut auctions , the log on HB still shows " waiting for false " , so im guessing the bot doesnt recognize that the scanning of undercut auctions is complete. And im using THIS one Its definetly not the macro , cause i've bound it to F2 , and it works when i press it manualy. And Libstub is activated
Well, I just tested the TSM version Inrego linked, so I knew if I could link it in my thread. It worked a tiny bit different than mine, but it worked. With the one I had installed, it'd start the cancelling cycle, wait for it to finish scanning and then cancel them all at once. Using Inrego's, it starts the cancelling cycle and it cancels auctions on the fly, not having to wait until it's done cancelling. Same Computer/HB/PB/Profile, just different TSMs (there might be a difference in the cancel.lua?). In any case, they both work for me (and I assume for Inrego too). If it doesn't for you, you're doing something wrong. My suggestion is to go back to my post and follow my instructions thoroughly. If it still doesn't work, again, you're doing something wrong. As for your particular error, I remember having that same one BEFORE I thought of installing Lib: Stub, so you might wanna start by double checking that it's enabled.
Hmm.. That's weird. I didn't change the files after I made them for you. So it should be exactly the same.. I don't really bot AH myself, I only altered the files to help contributing, although I did test them once or twice when I made profiles for my customers that uses TSM. Actually I go to your thread to find my own post there for reference each time I make a new TSM profile.
I didn't change anything since yesterday but now the cancelling is working just fine. I sometimes think technical stuff just doesn't like me
first, thx irego for ur TSM. Its working rly great, i m not ah botting very often but i ve found TSM really impressiv (i used auctionnator for the past months). But i have a quick question: is there a way to use that "spot" in stormwind where u can reach both mailbot & AH vendor while not botting? I mean without HB, can i get that mailbox with the help of a macro ? I did some research on google/forums without any success :/
