Ye would like to know that too, cause this will most likely happen to all of us, or most, so what did you say to them, and what were their response to it?
here is account one. My Ticket said: i got dc'ed and tried to log back in, said i was banned for hacks. All i was doing was questing in hyjal and being camped by some alliance...Please remove this from my account Their Response: Thank you for contacting us concerning the recent action taken against the World of Warcraft account. While we understand your concerns regarding the status of this account, we take matters involving the integrity of the game environment very seriously. My 2nd response: (2 hours later) "seroiusly, its friday night, i have the weekend off, please take this ban off so i can play." their response: " Thank you for contacting us concerning the recent action taken against the World of Warcraft account. now they will really watch you now..... there wont be another 72 hr on next offense itll be perma all you do now is attact blizzard's attention speaking from experiance appeal no longer cancels a punishment, youll just get to play 72 hrs earlier and get watched harder...
your theory makes no sense. If you dont appeal, your basically saying, yea, i was using 3rd party hacks, i wont do it again.... By appealing this, you tell them to look at your account, see that all ii was doing was questing and that they made a mistake.... If they found true evidence, they would have perma banned me after i appealed the tickets. So i think this just proves your theory wrong.
