      Well if its using the Pala core it might as well be a shaman since it has enhance and healing(jsut like a paladin) and he'll just have to make the caster thingy.

      It cant be a priest since he hinted at a "MELEE" class, so no hunter, no priest , no mage , no warlock, if you play them as melee class you messed up ;)
