BG buddies overpopulating battlegrounds

BG's are only flooded because of all the people using the *****ed bot. Hopefully CM goes down, then that will be a little less flooded.

Currently in an EOtS with 7..yes 7 bots - it looks quite retarded when a group of 7 guys are sitting on top of each other at a base on their mounts. HB is incredible but I hope they can come up with a randomized tile system soon.

Keep up the great work though guys, best $30 I've spent.

 

If only we could network all our bots together, to fight together in bgs, it could be like the WATSON of BGS muahahahaa

 

Could someone explain to me a little more how I can create my own BG bot paths? Or if there is a guide that will show me?

I was on for some pvp yesterday morning. Around 3am, I came across a group of 3 or 4 people in Warsong. When ever I attacked them they would just sit there and do absolutely nothing. They were all caster classes, they didn't try to run, kite anything.

Imo BG bots have gotten out of control but not much you can do about it, sadly.

 

Right now, it's about 6AM EU time.

>>Me and 4 other people rush to stabs and "defend" without saying a word until flag is capped

>>Entire team keeps zerging nodes, moving as one

>>He calls people bots, nobody answers xD

Awesome experience. Was very fun watching HB outplay the other team. Almost felt like the real problem for all those BG losses are the dumb players and not the buddies.

i agree it needs to be shut down before it gets so much out of hand that Blizzard HAVE to shut us down , even in day time there are so many bots , and really it is killing the game i am not against the use of lazy/combat bot in bgs but bg buddy ? i do not think it is ok to ruin the bgs for the ones who actually are trying to play for real

 

I think bg botting is just fine. It's a great way to farm honor. I rarely ever see more than two or three other bots besides me when I'm watching. BG Buddy just needs to be refined a bit. But not shut down. If you don't like using it, don't use it. But don't ruin it for the rest of us.

 

Eather that or it gets improved drasticly, also only some CCs works well in PVP, classes like warlock, mage, hunter etc look so botty with any cc that it just screams out load for a report

 

so here is an interesting question. someone mentioned that pirox(spelling) had much better pvp logic to it. as i understand it it is now shut down. do people still have access to the coding? and if so is there any way to convert that over to make bgbot work better? just my 2c and i could be completely retarded for thinking so but, anyway... thoughts?

 

I still have the last updated version of Pirox if anyones interested (if its even possible) to reverse engineer it

I should also state that the logic behind Pirox was not what made it superior to HB, it was the ability to have custom routes. I had atleast 10-15 custom routes for each BG, and after every death a new route was chosen. So the chances of having 2 bots doing the same exact thing in 1 BG was damn near impossible. Pirox had no real "logic" when it came to BGs, but rather the ability to create your own paths, which IMO is better. Pirox routes+HB CCs=WIN

 

haha, I saw the same thing a few weeks ago. The BG that I was in I actually played but I was watching the botters from the start. the Humans on the team were like "Hey, That Multi boxer is back in AV". Non of them would speak and they were all from Dif Realms. There would have had to have been 20 of them. I found it pretty amusing that we won...... The horde must have been worse.

 

There are so many bots now u cant play a decent bg anymore , being a bg player and i never thought i would say this but the bots are really starting to anoy me , and since u people dont increase pull distance on your bots from the standard 40yards result is them standing at a flag/base doing nothing at all when there is a war literally infront of them , i havent joined the dark side yet but .. if it gets much worse ..
