Decided to start a hunter with the bot. Everything is going great, lvling very efficiently, however after coming home after a few hours afk i discovered he still has the starter bow. Any way i can set autoequip2 to pick a ranged weapon over melee ones? Couldn't find anything on this anywhere, except for with melee classes and it not picking ranged weaps. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Well, do you have better ranged weps in your inventory? If you don't have one to equip, it won't equip it.
Wasn't one in my inventory, but I also watched it skip over ranged weapon upgrades while handing in quests *edit: just found 2 upgrades for ranged weapons in my bags, they were not equipped and the bot tried to sell them. hit stop and bought them back, manually equipped*
Bumping a dead post... but I am having the same issue, can I get a Bow to auto-equip, is it possible?
i have the same problem with all classes,seems that auto equip don't work properly now.Also have a problem with the Talented plugin.Bot select the spec but don't spend some skillpoints in the tree...Moderator Tony said to wait while the fix of this problem will come... P.S. The bot is questing well but it's useless without good items pick
Yes, it is a big deal no matter what spec you are. My char is lvl 19 with a lvl 2 gun. If you happen to get a ranged weapon then he sells it. So, the only choice is to sit there and watch every quest turn in to see if he gets a new one, and even then he rarely chooses a ranged weapon for a quest reward (if ever). Would be really awesome if this could be fixed. Thanks
Also another thing with this issue (as it's STILL an issue, so there is no point in making yet another thread) is that it doesn't pick ranged weapons over melee as quest rewards at all as a hunter either.
