I know this is a rather common thread.. but really.. im pretty sure this must be a ALL time low... in terms of prices etc Even a few weeks ago .. sites were buying at around $4 per k (on US realms) Now you have places like gameusd SELLING between $2.10 and $3.10 (Almost all US servers are at bout $2.30.. some euro ones are less than $1.50 Will it EVER get better ?? how are they getting it so cheap ?? Why would people ever bother selling 100k of gold to a site for $120 (or less) ?? is it really worth the effort and risk ?? I think "For the moment" Gold selling is fucked.. with places like gameusd selling that cheap.. and places offering you "upto" $1.50k .. some even have the nerve to quote you at 80c . yes you can sell private.. but even thats fuck all if people know they can buy gold from places like goldusd that cheap . So whats the solution ?? Who knows.. epic banwave on the big banks ?? epic banwave of everything ?? I think ALOT of farmers have stopped on one of my servers.. im selling these non stop.. at this price.. 20 stacks at at a time.. The worlds on fire... hell stacks of flasks selling @500-800g .. its all pretty fucked
With GB and other gathering bots being "Accessible" , and how the price used to be a couple of months ago, everyone jumped on the bandwagon. They thought it's "easy" money, which it was.. but not when the bots number double or tripple like now.. And gameusd was one of the main reasons the huge price drop happened. They've been selling cheap since they opened. It's just "Cheaper" now =/ And they don't have a problem finding gold that cheap, all they care for is their %. They got a "Chinese" website that helps the chinese farmers dump their gold. It's pretty much fucked up right now... Almost every botter who uses GB is selling gold, or at least used to... before this happen. and in my opinion, it will just keep on dropping even when cataclysm comes. The demand will be higher, but the resellers will keep on offering about the same price so they can make a killer profit out of the new expansion.
For me i am only using HB/GH for myself. Buy all good items in AH or craft them. Always 50k gold in Stock (20k on my guild bank and 30k on my toons). For me thats enough. Maybe i will raise it up to 100k until cata. Then i have enough gold for addon. But for all who sell gold i believe that u wont sell it for such prices. Its a hard time for yours. But hoping that prices will raise with addon.
well i wouldnt get my hopes up for cata, cause i doubt that the demand will rise THAT much, maybe it will but the prices wont rise a lot as long as you have people selling for 1$ and lower...
My solution: Crate a new Gold-Seller site. Offer fairness, no scam etc. and I'll be you mate that brings you the gold to sell. You buy my gold and sell it to the price you want^^ I guess many other ppl in here would join you because of the good prices. But there's a lot of work to do. If you want to wait untill the sucking chinese fuckers will raise their prices you'll be daaaaaamn old than. This posting is >>>not<<< an offer to sell gold to anyone! This is ONLY an idea what you could do. So, think about it and maybe soon you'll be better up in buissnes.
I notieced prices in the last few months have been TERRIBLE, but this week i have just completley stoped. I have 3 bank tabs full of herbs and cant sell em,,,, like 20 icethorn going for 9gold, wtf !!! I just cant sell,,
It's true many have jumped on the bandwagon, including myself though I have yet to sell more than 100k . My whole goal for buying hb/gb was for personal use, not that I bought alot of gold before then I just merely wanted to be able to support my crafting. I think over time as people get banned and lose their accounts they will weigh their options and decide it just isn't worth the risk or work to farm and sell gold when they have to spend a few week leveling another toon. Just my opinion though, as in the real world when there are too many competitors many businesses will close up and move on.
but thing is, if i got banned, i would just buy another CD key and farm to 80 using this bot, its a minor inconvenience. Nothing would stop me from botting, well the only thing would be LOTS OF BANS, like make it very easy to be banned. Edit,,, It happened on runescape and now its happening to wow, the economy gets FUCKED UP !
Well I understand that, but if you are trying to make money to pay for hb/gb, plus your wow accounts at what point do you take a loss and for how long before you just decide it isn't worth. And it was said earlier the access to bots now is even easier. I'll tell you how I found hb/gb. I stopped playing wow for a while for Aion, anyone who played can attest to the amount of bots that game had on release day. So I thought I would do search for these aion bots and software. There were a ton of sites up at the time, but a friend convinced to come back to wow. I happened across the Pirox site through google and from there I found other bots, forums etc. Reading those forums led me to here and I have watched the economy slowly decline, the ah prices drop as well as the price of gold. If I were in this for money I would have to evaluate the cost of monthly cost for wow, software and the bots. Not to mention the cost of hardware if it came down to that. I just think as people go on they'll become disenchanted with the whole bot thing and move on to something else. Of course you will always have a hardcore group of botters that won't quit or maybe the bot developers will make their bots private again or raise the pricing to offset the cost. Hard to say and there is plenty of time to see how things go.
Yea i Sell Gold.............it is defenitly not worth getting into. To be 100% honest. Make maybe 25k a week on each account cuz of moron botters posting 100 stacks of each item for 75% below market value. Make only like 30 dollars per account. Not worth it at all............Especially with the increase in price with HB. Best to just Not bother. Money you have to spend just to start is like 5 months worth of Gold Farming lol.
and in order to make 25k a week you have to run your guys to AH every 2 hours to repost all your stuff because people undercut you by half.
Every botter and there mom is doing this...........................So what do you think is ganna happen when Cata comes out and All of the botters that saved up 200k gold to sell. what is going to happen ? lol common sense

I dont think the party is quite over yet, but it is getting close to that. As long as blizzard keeps inflation on the rise and chineese farmers dump gold into the market we will keep seeing the price fall. At this point blizzard is laughing at all of us scramble. When gold gets to the price where it will cost more to buy keys and monthly bills than it is worth you will see only chineese farmers around. WoW is like the dot com boom of 99 . Everyone jumped on the bandwagon to make a quick buck and then the market got flooded. Same with the video game crash. There are many instances where this holds true. The only thing right now that will raise the price of gold is if blizz does a major banwave and wipes out all the stockpiles of gold. For those of you that think if you hold onto your gold it will get better... Think again. Sorry to say but we need a major banwave to raise prices, and although blizzard says they disapprove of gold selling, it is that very gold selling that is bringing them in even more money.
