I?ll try it with my lvl 75 warlock with questbot reporting back later So far everything looks really great, and it's really fast, but I think it would be alot faster if it would try to use Shadowburn every time a target drops below 20% even if the target doesn't have all the dots running and I don't know about AoE logic but I haven't seen my toon using bane of havoc. All in all I really like how it performs compared to other warloc cc's thnx for sharing and I'll keep you updated on my jorney to 85
i will add the option for shadowburn. and update tonight and i will look into havoc see if i can get it to do it so it is worth the cast as for bane of havoc i personally have never used it questing... and had horrible results with aoe solo botting... basically i set mine up to fear on 2 mobs and rain of fire on 4 mobs... so basically if you end up casting RoF you are juggling 5 mobs and i have never seen it come out alive EDIT working out the bugs for Havoc and have shadowburn already implemented and bug free... will be updating sometime very soon
Updated... now with shadowburn and bane of havoc be sure to configure the options for them in the settings panel
Havoc logic seems to be working really well and my toon is soulburning like a boss thnx alot for the latest update
In the title it says Destruction warlock, yet I see options for Affliction warlock spells. Does it currently support all three specs, or will they be added later?
yes there are options for affliction spells. and there is an affliction combat routine. i have very little experience with affliction though and i haven't tested it at all...if you want to test it and let me know about problems feel free i am pretty good at being able to work out bugs in a couple of hours... i am not too sure about the "all in one" CC... and dont know if i want all 3 in one place i am presently checking speed impact of multiple specs in a single CC... and having multiple CCs for the same class in the Custom class folder or even having say a different class CCs in along with the warlock there is no demonology routine though...
Sure I can do some testing for the Affliction/Destruction side of things. I have played all three specs by hand but I spec'ed out of Demonology because of how different the stat priority is than the other specs. I also use Raid Bot quite often and am curious about the DPS this CC is capable of, and I am very much liking the amount of customization this CC allows. I'll let you know how it performs and any features/suggestions I have for it.
Specifically rotation changes would be good or DPS numbers for either presently my warlock is way under geared and is only breaking 9K DPS take a look HB window every once and a while watch to see if it is having line of sight issues... if you decide to try out the affliction routine.
I noticed that when I change the options in the CC they don't take effect. I changed it to only use Soul Fire when the mob is fleeing, just to see what other spells get case because as it stands it basically one shots (with pet finishing off mob) with Soul Fire, but when I saved it it still pulled with Soul Fire and when the mob was left standing it didn't seem to cast any other spells, even though they're being listed in the HB window.
it will always pull with soul fire for the moment... i will add options for the pull spell if people want them and i have been testing that very problem you describe with the settings... save and load not making the changes immediate even though it rights the changes to the XML properly... TESTED.. and it checks out for me... try a target dummy and toggle Felflame/chaos bolt/etc... still implementing all of the options presently at ~80% finished if you are still having problems try a new copy of HB or get me a log... the spell not firing thing doesnt sound like the CC but HB acting up although i am standing in org right now beating on a dummy and it is firing the spells properly and for once it actually casts the spell it actually logs to HB
I can do that. I'm not very high level right now, only 37, so I'm missing quite a few spells that you may have it set up for. Once I finish this level I'll go to Stormwind and beat on a training dummy and generate a log for ya. Edit: I fought a dummy for a few minutes, about 5 maybe, just watching the bot and the toon. Attached a log. Edit 2: Just an idea, may be hard to code in, may not be. I don't know. But, the idea is an optioni to change the time to have the pet go in and attack. DarkBen's warlock CC has a 500 ms time delay to send the pet in to attack. I'd like to send my pet in and wait about one to two seconds before I start to pour on the skills. I want it to get snap agg, and be able to hold agg. Right now the CC sends the pet in and before it gets there I'm already tossing spells at the mob and it's usually me and my pet fighting for agg on a mob. I hope I'm explaining it well enough? lol Edit 3: I've been running it on Quest bot while I run Kick's questing profiles, and from what I'm seeing it's a bit clunky. Sometimes it'll dot up the target, but other times it just fires off a Soul Fire and then just stands there, other times it will send in the voidwalker, fire off Soul fire, then stand there until the voidwalker finishes off the target. It's also sort of slow going. The CC I mean. It just seems to take a little while between each spell cast. I've attached another log.
yeah if you don't mind a log would be good... presently battling a problem with HB not returning proper TRUE/FALSE so when each spell is checked some time HB says you don't have the spell which in your case you dont but the next time it checks... maybe .03 secs later you all of a sudden have it and it is good to go.
Ok, I'm running it now with the changes you said to make last night. It's running a lot faster, and smoother now, but it's still having some small issues. On occasion it will dot the target with bane of agony, then just stand there while the voidwalker hits it. Other times it will fully dot, and then blast with either Shadow Burn or Soul Fire, and even other times will stand there trying to do something but WoW will spam "Invalid Target" even though the correct target is targetted and I can see the target frame on WoW. I'll post a log for you. Thanks again for those suggestionis. That made a lot of difference. Edit: After watching the bot, and WoW (windows were tiled so I could see them both at the same time) it seems that the Invalid Target error is happening when trying to cast Bane of Agony. Sometimes the spell is cast properly, and other times it gives that error. It seems to work when that spell is cast as a pull spell, but while in a fight and that spell is cast, it throws "Invalid Target". Also, the GUI is not saving my Drain Life settings. I've changed them three times, and they always go back to default after I click "Save and Close". I also noticed that it's not using Shadow Bolt and the option is default set to always.
the i am well acquainted with the invalid target error after working on the bane of havoc... kept trying to select my pet or the friendly combatants in the area i have it fixed but have not posted the update as i am working on several more changes will updated on 4/13 hopefully but 4/14 at the latest... trying to make better use of updates chaos bolt is used in this CC it needs to be properly configured in the settings panel or it wont be fired when you wish
