Whats better to bot on Call to Arms weekend? I tried Arathi Basin only put it seemed like RandomBG's were faster. Should I just que up for AV only??
What's the difference between call to arms and random? Same points, same everything, but, random you can get into ANY bg including the call to arms one so you have a faster entry time.
i think random queue is the best because it seems to go the fastest and bgbot doesnt seem to be so buggy on some bg's as it has been before. jest get a good cc, queue random, right pull settings and you should be good to go
Personally i queued for AB all weekend long, because i KNOW that AB runs flawlessly, and I am still skeptical of all the other BG's because I have not personally watched the bot inside other BGs to verify for myself it is as good. Over the next couple weeks I will be able to pay more attention to it inside randoms to make sure the rest are as good. Precautions and all, ya know? =P
it depends on the CTA, some seem to be waste of time as the % of wins are crap compared to that of a random BG. its like there is a much more % of being in a winning Random BG than say a CTA Battle of Gilneas. I personally do Random Bg all the time UNLESS CTA is AV.
I like AV except that, when I watch it, I often wonder why my toon is suddenly veering off over this way when my entire team of 3 dozen guys is continuing to ride over that way. I then wonder why my toon has decided it's a good idea to ride straight into the entire enemy force and start attacking at the middle. It never ends well for me. I don't really care though, except it's funny. AV is pretty fast and the honor points are good. Never had a whisper or a problem at all. AB is even funnier, though. There's usually one guy who decides he will be the self-appointed battle commander. Nobody really listens to him of course, even the non-bots, so by the time the enemy is ahead something like 1300 to 300, he's frothing at the mouth, calling everyone losers, and speaking in tongues. I watch AB sometimes just for the enjoyment of watching these kinds of guys go insane.
I'm really new to CTA and PvP in general, so I don't know a lot of things about it. But, when a specific BG is announced for a CTA weekend I thought that that specific BG awarded more honor than any of the non-CTA BGs? I spent my entire weekend botting AV because it was the CTA BG. Seems that I was getting more honor just doing AV than I was while doing randoms. Of course, it doesn't help that I'm alliance, because out of 30 randoms the alliance won 2, but when doing AV alliance won 50% of the time.
