If you compare this to your felmaster pass it looks about right, I think you used the version just before i fixed soul fire double casting.

 

It would have been .9 version of CLU should say it in log and it would have been right before i ran the test i updated the CC. The lock's ilevel is 392 and he is destro.

spec is identical to yours well my 2 points are in rel synergy not one in it and one in demonic embrace

 

I like the way your setup looks. What do you use? I don't currently use any sort of UI addons, so my display looks like the regular Blizzard crap. I like how yours looks clean, and uncluttered.

 

what meter are you using for dps and what not let me use the same vs using recount that way we can make sure it is not a meter discrepency.

 

I am using ElvUI, with Scada

Something mus be messed up...Corruption and Immolate and Bane of doom damage and Ticks are aalmost identical from my run to your felmaster run.

I didn't update the revision number for CLU... I just committed the newer revision.

Just found this in the log you attached...you were using the version before I fixed soul fire double casts.

Any chance you could re-svn and run another Ultra?

there is your problem...skada is flawed imo...badly its numbers are off bad very bad i had a lot of problems with it being inconsistent. Like i would run the lock and priest both using skada same fights one would say the priest was doing 40k other would say it is doing 32. on the same fight. recount has been spot on for me.

Had to find the cached version but I base my preferance from this post but I usually use WoL for a more indepth analysis but we cant start swapping those logs haha

 

for our purposes i may start using recount and skada on one computer. well between you and I we could swap wol but freely post negative lol

Tested on the dummy for quite a while, seems to be working fine. Modified the Trinkets to only pop when we put Vendetta on the target. Haven't tested on a boss yet. I'll be *hopefully* able to test these this weekend a little more. This should work fine, though.

 

That was an interesting read. I think I'll be switching to skada, away from Recount, myself. Skada seems to be more of what I've been looking for.

here is the lock, no flask on this could be why it is lower than the felmaster one.

 

One word: Awesome! Now, I'm going to have to make the decision of either going assassination, or combat, to be the permanent pairing with sub. Any advise or suggestions? I know combat used to be top DPS, but as for right now I'm having to make due with all PvP gear until I can get some PvE gear back. Sucks that all my PvE stuff was sold off while I was out running errands. I left BGBuddy running using ARelog, and when I got home, I only had some elixirs, unsellable JP/HP gear, and Deadly, Instant, and Crippling poisons. My Wound poisons even got sold off somehow.

 

and here is the priest mind flay needs to be clipped that has to be the big DPS difference.

 

On another note though firmage seems to be doing well i will let you know about some improves after i finish LFR

 

Thanks bennyquest...I think we are there! The difference between Felmaster and CLU (as far as overall damage goes) is very small.

I did notice poor old CLU lucked out on the incinerate crits compared to felmaster...that would have made all the difference!

 

zeldrak - Just go with whichever you like. If you have the daggers, I like Assassination more than Sub, but that's just me. If you don't, go Combat since it's the easiest rotation and more forgiving on bad gear IMO.

wulf - No problem! The boomkin one could still use some work, and as you might have noticed... I forgot to edit the descriptions of all of them. Woops. I'll continue to play with them, but I'd mark them as a work in progress. Appreciate the CC though... love being able to control the movement / targeting. I'll continue to look over rotations as I get some time raiding again. Although you guys working on locks makes me want to level one, ugh.

 

Sadly, right now, because of PvE gear loss the only weapons I've been able to get are the Ruthless Shankers (daggers). I want to have a PvE spec and gear set to go along with my PvP side. I have the PvP side down already. I honestly like assassination, but the issue I was running into was finding a CC that used Assassination properly. Most that used assassination were outdated and didn't work well. Swiny's PvPRogue CC is pretty deadly with Sub, and I want something like that to work with Assassination. I really hope the Assassination CLU addition will be just as lethal. I leveled Combat, and frankly, it's boring. I only want to use it for leveling, not raiding or dungeons, until I absolutely have to. Ya know?

 

Ok for fire mage.

1. Need to do an if moving cast scorch.
2. If it is doing AOE needs to make sure living bomb is on target before it fire blasts with impact.
3. I needs to actually aoe....as in 3 or more targets it should blast wave and dragon's breath if in range.
