I was wondering is it possible to make a 64bit version available for the honorbuddy, myself i get twice better fps when playing 64bit client, so i would love if there's some way to get hb to work with 64bit client
Why do you need fps for botting. ..? You should be playing lowest graphics for highest fps possible. Strange xD Lowest graphics should equate to awesome fps. Therefore, you musdt be playing with lots of graphics options which is silly. Basically >.<
If I would get twice as much FPS as right now, I'd play with 210 FPS. Which is pretty pointless. And like cawpet said, why even bot on extreme settings? I'm maxing my FPS on 8 while botting, doesn't need more.
Im not on extreme settings, sadly i have an old cpu, "7 years old" to be exact, playing on low in 32 bit only gets me to 30-40 fps, but i get up to 90 in 64bit client,
If I understood what qwee said, then they're only botting with 8 fps. If you're botting, you're not really playing, and you don't need all those fps. But, if you're actually playing, then yes I could understand how you'd want more fps. I play, and when I play I only get 20-30 fps at best, on a 5 year old machine. Works just fine with those few fps. All in all, like Kickazz said, there's no guarantee that they will make a 64 bit version, and if they do it's going to be far in the future.
64 bit wont happen, because if we did we would basically have to keep up with updating and maintaining 2 copies of honor-buddy. patching and updates would take twice the time because we would have to update both platforms. theres no point to that when the 32 bit client works for everyone. maybe it will happen in the future but right now its not in the cards.
Or you can have 2 folders. One for 64bit with dx11 which you use when you play, and one for 32 bit with dx9 to use when botting. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...erent-video-settings-possible.html#post497893
I often use HB to take advantage of RaidBot & LazyRaider in raids/dungeons/bgs/arena etc and enjoy playing with the video settings turned up. Granted, when I'm botting afk I will use the lowest settings along with a smaller window resolution but I fail to see why playing with high graphical settings is silly? Doppa did not make a direct statement as to what he was using the bot for and I think the condescending nature of your post was unnecessary. To answer the OP, have you tried disabling v-sync in your video settings Doppa? With some monitors and graphic cards, this can offer a significant boost to your frame rate. I recall stumbling upon some guides a few months ago that described optimal graphic settings for common hardware. I haven't got a link handy but I'm sure a quick search in Google (including the appropriate hardware, if your feeling technical) will turn up something worthwhile. Good luck!
