no a phasing quest outside of org... it is required that once it is started that you complete it or the area stays phased with no NPCs even into org the watering the bushes message is what you get if the quest bugs and is un completable for ever or until A GM auto completes it for you

Oh wow man, the new one rocks hard. I was getting 1500 dps on my lvl 69 lock with this in my destro spec, but with the "improved" demon spec for Singular I was only getting 800 dps, if I was lucky. This is really sweet. The only thing I've seen so far, and this may be because I was using the dummies, is that when I have it set to cast bane of havoc it doesn't. I have no other banes set to cast (doom and agony are set to never, while havoc is set to always). This may be because it's not meeting a criteria you have programmed in, but I have no idea what the requirements are to cast it, so that may be why it's not. All in all, it's rocking pretty hard right now. Watching my lock break 1500 and hit almost 1600. I don't know if that's good for a level 69 destro lock in random blue/green gear with weapon/shoulder/chest heirlooms.
i think it is pretty good dps... as for the bane of havoc nothing has changed and you will do more DPS if you enable one of the other banes too the CC will keep BoH up only on adds and cast agony or doom on the current target which is why it wont cast on dummys no adds to cast on
Yeah, that's what I sort of thought after I read back over what BoH did. I was reading it wrong. I thought it was saying if it was cast on the target it would spread damage out to enemies nearby, but I misread it. Sweet, now I can bot at almost twice the DPS I was doing in demon. Should make things a bit faster now. Good job. I'd +rep you, but whenever I try I'm told to "You must spread some reputation around before giving it to wulfen again." I've given rep to others several times now, which is odd, but anyway here's a textual +rep.
I had an idea after I logged off last night. You may have already thought of this and decided against it. What I was thinking is that for certain spells you can code in an "Automatic" setting. For instance for the armor spells (demon and fel armors) you could set it to automatic, and based on certain criteria it would choose for you. You could do the same for the banes (agony and doom, and possibly havoc) and the curses (weakness, tongues, and elements). Also, for any other spells that may have certain criteria where one spell would be better than another, and when that criteria is met, the bot would automatically switch to the appropriate spell. It could also run a check to ensure that the target wasn't already affected by that spell. It's just an idea, and I'm sure it may take way more coding than you feel like dealing with, which is understandable. It works really well as is. I just thought the automatic thing would make things faster, more accurate, and give you more dps in the end. If you're not sure of what I mean, check out CodenameG's Zerfall. I love how some (if not most) of his options have an "Automatic" setting, and the bot switches to the appropriate, or best fitting, spell for the situation. I think wulf has this in CLU as well. Just thinking out loud. If you don't like it, or think it's a bad idea, it's cool.
it is something i have thought about doing and keep going back and forth over it mainly due to Mists of Panda on the horizon. i think even minor changes to the spell mechanics would require much of the Auto logic to be re written... or any time elitist jerks decide to change their minds...
That's a good point, but the sad thing is that EJ is like a yo-yo. They're always changing their minds. I just use them to get a basic idea of where I'm supposed to be going, and I go from there. lol
@Wulfen Hey mate, I'm back to bother you again. When I used your CC today to do some questing and dungeons it didn't perform anywhere near as well as it did when I was testing it on the dummy in SW. What I mean by that is, with no buffs at all in SW I was getting between 1500-1700 dps, but in dugeons fully buffed I'm only getting 600-800 dps. It runs really quickly at the dummy, but it's really sluggish in dungeons. I've tried many settings variations as far as lazy raider/smart targeting/etc is concerned, and nothing seems to help. The toon alternates between targets very rapidly (and I don't know why, but it also targets group members) only putting up corruption. It doesn't seem to use all of the spells in the dungeon that it uses on the test dummy. It tries to cast RoF twice in dungeons in quick succession (the first time it clicks, then clicks again, then RoF works). There's other stuff, but I can't remember it all. I noticed while questing with it, it didn't try to stay alive very long. I guess, what I mean by that, is it didn't use life tap, or health funnel, or the other HP regen spells that work in combat. It didn't use the healthstone either. :/ I'm really sorry mate. I feel like I'm being a total doucher. This thing rocks on the test dummy. I just wish it would move as fast in dungeons and while questing. I don't know why it casts spells at the dummy so rapidly, but on an actualy mob target it's really slow to cast things.
not a problem... i have never really tested it in a dungeon... but first suggestion is DO NOT under ANY circumstances use the CC with raidbot / lazyraider ONLY use it with combat bot and disable priority targeting and enable lazyraider in the CC to disable movement i am working on the raidbot/lazyraider problem atm and i will see if i have the instance logic screwed up but it will take me a few hours
Yeah, I tried it with both lazyraider and combat bot. It seems that bobby53 tried to make lazyraider better, but instead kinda made it not as good as the last one. There are a lot of people saying it's making their CCs break.
i am sorry you disapprove but there are only so many ways to write a CC and only a few ways to accomplish it within the API and you will have noticed i have re-written large portions of it so that: 1 it functions 2 it functions as expected 3 i gave you the credit due not to mention you have apparently abandoned the code for a different CC that you have excluded the community and allowed only a select few to use... so the rest of us had to deal with the crap hazard "fixed". I am actually fixing it while we await your release of Unity... when ever that will be, at which point there wont be any need for a second warlock CC. if you would like to discuss it a PM would be a better place...
Yes I disapprove. No I don't want to take this to a PM. Credit, you gave me "the credit due", the only credit you gave was "borrows FPSwares Settings panel and other assorted code so thanks FPSware". The word 'borrow' does not mean take the *whole* CC and change parts of it. Had you asked permission I would have said yes to PARTS of it, but not to simply copy and paste and rename it. Open the UI and what do you see, your name plastered all over it implying its your original work. Come on, that is arrogant and down right rude. What projects I work on and what I choose to keep private while it is undergoing development and testing is my prerogative. I do not appreciate your comments that I am withholding my work from the general public.
as i got a report about this case,what i can say is that we will review it within 24 hours probably there will be some changes on developer's rules but in general i wanna say that copy/rename a CC/plugin is something we dont like as for copy/paste is something that its under discussion atm anyways i will inform both of you within 24 hours for now keep this thread clear and civil thx
yes i put my name on it... when and only when i had re worked enough code that it worked. in the hopes of people getting to use it i could care less about getting any credit for the work... when i went looking for a warlock CC the choices were pretty thin and NONE of the ones that support destruction work, and some cant even be called a CC... so i picked one what was worth fixing and worked on it... now i have a working CC why shouldnt everyone get to use it? oh i tried posting it without removing your name left it with everything intact... just fixed the mess hazard made and updated it so it would work properly... but Codename didnt like it and the thread was deleted but he left the piece of crap hazard wrote up there... I apologize I wasn't intending to be rude or arrogant. I will happily Put your name back on your work if you will allow me keep working on it or if you wish i will take it down.
its all over. no updates. no anything. if you downloaded anything from this thread you should delete it... receiving stolen goods and all...
I think there should be sum changes in the rules to make them very clear. Why couldnt there be a timeline, I mean if someone makes a CC and then walks away from it for xx amount of time flag as its abandon and open for others to make changes. Realy this is about the people and making something thats for them, Having something that works. I see alot of CC's that are outdated and when there updated there is always someone that complaining it was stolen. When i think people are just happy that its working again. If there was changes in rules to make it a little more clear there would be alot of the cc's that are abandon fixed, working again and more than likely working better than before. I hope something can be set in stone, we would have some very nice cc's more than likely all these that are broken would work again. FOR THE PEOPLE. just my option. This CC simply works great, He must have spent alot of time on it, It works so good, i hope you keep coding your talents are very well noticed here by me and many more
