What do you use to do with herbs and ores after gathering to get max profit? Herbs: Do you sell it raw? Do you make potions? Cards? Minerals: Do you sell it raw? Ingots? Raw Gems? Cutted Gems?
Normally i only sell all my gathering stuff Raw lol I used to mill and prospect etc but i havnt got the time atm
i use bank alt accts to sell them off about 7-9 stacks at a time and rotate the alt accts selling herb then ore in small lots on AH ... and i only use lvl 80 alts to do it ... and thru a guild bank or splitting the amounts thru the mail system first ...
Atm, I take the herbs and mill them to make cards, I take the ores to make gems and DE greens I make from JCing. However recently I'm considering would it be more time effective to just vendor the white herbs and keep the frost lotus/titanium ore to sell on the AH.... not quite sure. Anybody do this?
I send the frost lotus, and enough herbs to my alchemist to make flasks, then i mill the remaining herbs and make decks.
i sell all my herbs i don't use for flasks to a private buyer for under AH price its very quick for me and cheap for him so he doesn't ask questions
How did you find this private buyer? I'd be very willing to do the same thing with somebody else but don't really want to advertise the suggestion that I might be botting in trade or on the wow forums
Mining: I usually prospect the ore unless the AH price is 30g+ / stack Herbs: I control the frost wyrm, runic mana/health pot market spread over 3 bankalts as to not raise questions. I also frequently mill the herbs and trade them for lower level ink's, makes a huge profit on my server (loads of people selling cards, too much competition for me to have any kind of control). I sometimes find private bulk buyers but atm my supply > their demand so I still end up doing alot of AH work.
