Hello. I was wondering is it safe to bot at the same PC while at the same time I'm playing with my main ?
Would I be banned with my main account too If i get caught with my bot account ?

      Thanks.

You're always going to run the risk of getting banned on any, or all, account(s). Many people here play one account and bot another account. Some live on the dangerous side and bot their main account (me). I would stay away from grinding and from Uldum. Seems those are the two bigger ban reports that I've read. You should be fine playing one and botting another. If you're on a high population server, your chances of being reported for botting are higher, so just keep that in mind.

I have a question about grinding:
Is killing low level mobs for transmog items in the same category as the grinding you tell us to stay away from? Because I've been killing these mobs for 1-2-3 hours/day :-s

Thank you for your answer. I'll just add one thing tho .

      I have 2 PC's. ( 1 of them I don't use ) Would my main account be safer If i run my bot on a PC I don't use ?

The reason I'm asking these because my main account has 3+3+3+1+1+1 bans in total days. :) And the last one was permanent before I worked so hard and reduced it to 72 hours. So I can't risk my nearly 6 years old main account anymore :)

If you're grinding low level mobs for xmog items, I would make sure you babysit your bot as much as possible, just in case you get a whisper from a GM. Also, make sure you're not grinding on mobs that are used by lowbies for quests, because they can report you for doing that, and that could possibly lead to a ban. Just be sure that whatever low level mobs you're grinding on are out of the way and aren't used for any sort of quest. Also, I was more referring to grinding on mobs the same level as you, for leveling purposes. This is one of the more obvious botting techniques that will get you banned.

If that's the case, and you've had bans on your main account already, then I would suggest you not play your main while you bot. Try not to have your main account tied to to your second account in any way. Don't use the same email address, don't use the same payment method, don't use the same name, don't use the same IP address, etc. Try to make them both as different as physically possible from each other. That way, if one of the two does get looked into, Blizzard won't be able to tie them together, and you have a better chance of just one of them getting banned and not both. Now, keep in mind, that this is only a way to cut down on the risk of getting all accounts banned, not a complete preventative. It is still possible that they can get both of your accounts locked down.

There will be always risk for getting your main account banned, because somehow you need to get the Gold from your bot account to your main account. The only way which will not have a chance to not ban your account is to stop botting.
