I thought I was using one there for a while successfully but then the bot started turning the other way when going from mail to ah and screwed it up randomly. West smc is really pretty good of a spot, but there's already like 7 bots there at any given time.
Not to be a tard or anything but when you release software, users shouldn't have to do the coding themselves. Also, bugfixes should be in the first post, not throughout the thread. This has way too many problems to be usable so I'm just reverting back to the old and uglier TSM and using Toney's profile (which still works great). Nice work though. Hope it becomes usable soon, and good luck.
I can't say I disagree about the "presentation", but it's not a super huge deal. After all, the OP doesn't really get anything for sharing this. People need to be more thankful and just take what they can get. I can't vouch for the profile itself, (I'm using a revamped version of my old profile with the new TSM), but the modifications sure work (I've gotten around the few hiccups I've found). As this stands now, there's no real reason to switch if the old TSM and profile work for you (they pretty much both do the same), but the OP seems to have some good ideas to make this better. That said, it seems like TSM's author has contacted the OP (like he contacted me in the past), so we'll see if he'll continue to work on this or not.
I always thought Mr. "Sapu" was a prick, and this confirms it. What an absolute loser. If the OP stops because of that tard I'll start on an open plugin/botbase to completely automate the same functionality.
Hello everyone! Sorry, but I was a bit busy lately (Real life, MoP beta, etc.), and I don't have my own access to HB, I have to borrow it from one of my friends. Plus, that nasty bug kinda let me down, and couldn't find a fix yet. I'm gonna re-read the thread today, and try to answer everyones question. The reason behind this, is that the modifications should work across TSM updates, no point releasing a package, when TSM gets updated next week. I might release a package though, because I see many people have problems with this. And no, TSM author has not contacted me, so don't worry I will keep updating (when I can) Have a nice day everyone!
Oh, this actually makes a lot of sense. Good thinking! I just assumed he did because he visited your profile page on the forums. Not like he could touch you really. I was actually considering re-distributing it myself again in case you stopped working on this when I saw what a dick he was being on the consortium forums... Glad you're back!
I wouldn't mind editing things if I just knew what code to edit, like how to get the bot to stop trying to walk onto the auctioneer platform in SMC. I still really wanna know why tsm refuses to be the first window that opens, even though I have "make it default" selected. Some people I know said it may be an issue with having auctionator installed, but disabling it did nothing. And I could never get a response at the tsm irc channel thing. There are older versions of tsm and other profiles that do what this one does? Are they still available?
Character stuck at mailbox Alright, I'm pretty sure I copied everything the way it should be for TSM. But for some reason, he will after scanning and canceling just head to the mailbox and get the mail. After that, he just sits there. Isn't he supposed to go back to the ah and repost?
Yeah, he should. I occasionally get an issue where the bot opens the AH, it goes to the tsm screen, but it's just kinda gray and nothing happens. If I notice it, I can hit the post or cancel scan button and then it works just fine. If not, the it becomes a problem.
Hi all, Just did the modifications to TSM, and hit play. My toon runs straight to the mailbox, and then just sits there. Any thoughts? Cheers!!! Think I'll add something, there's been a few occasions with this profile that when it heads to the mailbox, one mail will get left opened but undeleted, as in it looted the gold/loot, but didn't delete the letter. The bot then refuses to loot any more mail and sits there. A conflict with postal perhaps, I think I'll try it without postal tomorrow. Thanks for the great stuff btw. =)
Just a small update. Fixing several issues mentioned above, the problems occured because TSM author is looking at the bot and implementing functions in the addon to make it throw error. lmao
Where's the update? Code or profile? If it's in the code, which part exactly (so I can just modify it)? And what did you actually fix? I've gotten around the "black screen" but it's super annoying because I have to make it auto reload UI when it happens, and it's hard to keep track of conversations when I'm actually chatting on it
The only update is countering bot measures as I said, one in TradeSkillMaster_Auctioning.lua and another in TradeSkillMaster_Mailing.lua Regarding the "black screen" I still can't add anything, that will be no.1 when I have some time.
Ah ok, then nothing I need to worry about. The black screen is pretty annoying. It still works without interaction, I just wish I didn't have to reload the UI for it lol Thanks for continuing work on this
Is it too late in the directions post to point out which are the new changes? (I just browsed quickly, apologies if you already did)
