I've spent over 2 hours reading forums regarding leveling speeds for combos and realized I should have came here first. 1 ) If you had 0 mains and two new accounts, what two classes would you bot using RAF and why? 2) Is leveling speed a determining factor in your decision? 3) Are their classes that just bot better? assuming you're talking about RAF Botting, i've heard people say 2x pally was pretty good, however i noticed in the early levels(when i RAFed a team of priest & Pally) the priest pulled aggro from the paladin until 20(when pallies get the taunt spell) and the priest was doing about 2x the damage the pally was until level 40. However, there are two factors in this, 1: priests are horrible DPS, so paladins have horrid damage until around level 40. 2: the paladin almost never had down time, the priest did. Hope that helped
My first combo was a priest/pally, then I tried warlock/mage and they did good, so now im running paladin/mage and IMO its a great combo. Having at least one ranged class helps a lot, and a frost mage really helps when u get adds, the CC im using Project E detects adds, and sheeps one. The mage also makes its own water, so has very little downtime, and they both need completely different gear, which helps at lower lvls when equipping random greens.
Thanks for the advice. My brother is botting with me and just decided to play a warlock. My personal taste points me to picking a mage, hunter, or shaman. The fun choices
so how about single account botting ? 1.best class/race combo for fastest leveling 2.best profiles to use for speed leveling horde/ally lets see what the veterans of botting can tell us
Pally is best IMO, self healing, plate, passive AOE, and for gathering, crusader aura. Mord's Convalesce is awesome, totally configurable.
This. Good killing speed, and no downtime. Blessings too. Classes with dots are a waste because the dots wont get the full effect = waste of mana
Anyone mind posting xp/H or /played time per lvl at around 22 with the combo you are using? I did about 27k xp/h no BoA on shaman + shaman at lvl22 which is about 25min per lvl or less
1. Enhance shaman + Pally Warrior + Feral Druid Hunter + Hunter Hunter + Boomkin Pally + Pally Warlock + Boomkin (or Ele Shaman if/when we get a working ele shaman CC) Warlock + Priest (or Ele Shaman if/when we get a working ele shaman CC) (Anything + Pally works wonder as soon as Mords Pally CC is ready for HB2.) I guess Hunter + Priest will work as well, havent tried it tho. All these combos are combos I have tried and who will go on hard profiles (with alot of adds) and have zero downtime. I make all my RAF profiles with atleast 2-4 mobs/pull and I average 4 days > 60 (incl slacking and some AH action getting weapons for Melee users every 10lvls) All Range + Melee combos might be good as in they dont die, they will however produde less Xp /Hour simply because they will never kill mobs as fast as Range/Range or Melee/Melee. 2. Yes. 3. Yes. Mages and Rogues being the classes that bot less good. Not because the?r CC's atm is bad, just because they dont have any good synergis with other classes. Mage + Mage tho might be interesting.
I'm currently doing Enhance shaman + Pally, going better than i thought. Back in glider days i found warlock to be great for solo botting, also hand leveled a pally to 80 and they are muuuuuch better than vanilla days. My choices: 1. Pally + Shammy 2. Pally + Lok 3. Pally + SPriest 4. Pally + Pally (i only make shammy/pally number one cause ive done a lok before and want a 80 shammy now)
When HB2 gets a proper release and is no longer beta I will be leveling a paladin and a shadow priest, reason is I think the combination is interesting.
I have to level 4 classes. Hunter, Warlock, Rogue and Warrior. Is there any good combination to make a RAF Team?
Coming Soon So i will be personally creating a druid/pally combo, Using the feral druid mesh on this site. with mord's pally Cc (there is no other pally cc that compares) initially i will be healin with the pal (due to awesome options on mord's cc) and fighting with the drood. Once they reach a decent level i will be using GotWood and healbotting the druid 100%.
Right now Im using Druid / Mage Combo Druid is set to Feral and mage is set to Frost. Pretty good combo IMO, but not the best.
Looking to start an RAF combo once I finish my current lvl'ing char. Anyone have new thoughts on this? I'm thinking of a Pally/Druid combo with a mind to using both as gatherbots once they're done. Anyone do a mage/mage combo? I keep thinking it'd be cool to have one on each account just for portal abilities, and can pick up some tradeskills on each. Whatever you go with, would you just grind them, or do a quest profile? I mean, atm, theres really only quest profiles to about 20, so would you quest them in a group till 20 and then grind maybe? How's the RAF functionality? I think I read someone say they just use grind bot on both of them rather than RAF. Maybe some other plugin/bot?
