This CC is awesome, but it could be epic if you would implement movement. EDIT: It would be nice if you could add the CC to a SVN too.
implementing movement makes CC's slow down alot.... why for pure raiding you dont want movement logic at all in your cc's
download the folder, unzip/extract it, place it in the Custom Class folder in your honorbuddy directory. Start bot.
It's not because of checking the 31 point talent in public bool IsFrost() { return SpellManager.HasSpell("Howling Blast"); } Should be a simple fix
changed the recognisable spells for each spec so this cc should now work whilst levelling up too. thx jake tweaked the unholy rotation for better dps. thx amputations changed the priority selector layout for easier to read layout. uploaded latest version 23.4.12 and updated the link. i'm considering trying to add movement to this cc; let me know if you think this is a good idea or not and whether it would be appreciated. i'm also looking into the possibility of adding some ui to the cc, but that's a new kettle of fish to learn. feedback/help/suggestions would be welcomed also. oss.
I dont normally post or discuss much because I am such a novice, but your script is very good. I have written my own for each class and am consistently in the top 5 of my raid group all the time, but yours is much smoother and seems to utilize cool downs much better as well. Thanks for the effort, well done.
thank you i have tried, i appreciate you taking the time to post. if theres anything you find that i can improve on please do not hesitate to say.
When i start this on my Blood DK the bot changes presence to Unholy and tries to dps as a unholy dk.. In other words .. it seems like the Blood DK CC is bugged (I have the latest version of the CC)
the only way it can use the unholy rotation is if you had scourge strike when the bot populated the spell book, ie were in unholy spec. i have tried to replicate this problem but without any more information i cannot. did this happen only once? or does it happen everytime?
i have a question: i want to use this CC with the german client, but it only works with english client, which codelines have to be changed that this cc works with german client?
this is true, i have previously looked into using spellid instead of the actual names so that there are no language compatibility issues but i dont know how to do this. if anyone else knows ow i can do that i'd gladly do the work and make this CC more accessable.
thanks for the link. there are a few lines missing from the initiAlisation sequence where the bot recognises which of the 3 spec spells you have in your spellbook, either frost strike, scourge strike or heart strike, and then prints your spec in the log. yours doesnt do this. i honestly cannot see any reason for this happening other than you not having chosen a spec at all, which i assume you have not done. i'll reupload my version of the the cc which is working as intended to check if theres an issue with the file uploaded. please try redownloading the cc, if you are still having issues then i can only assume something is confliction within your installation. excluding the above i'm confused how you ar having this issue when i and others cannot replicate it. let me know.
Recently a gentleman sent me a PM to bring to my attention that he thought I had used some of his code in this CC and had omitted to credit him, he requested that i removed the code from the CC, despite its oblique and displaced similarity to his own work. I have refused and offered to credit the person (who shall remain nameless). However if anyone feels that i have used their code in this CC and forgotten to give credit where its due, please feel free to send me a PM. I am aware that i am not at all delicate with who's work I use to improve this CC, my motto is that if its useful then I will use it. I do not ever pretend to be the sole author or the "creator" of the CC, as I have always said, this is a community driven CC. I am simply the curator of other peoples work. If I have used your genius in this CC then PM me and I'll HAPPILY credit you! Imitation is the highest form of flattery, and I think its important to remember that these lines of code are not a created entity as they are created out of a free code which isn't the property of any one coder. Crediting coders is respectful of other peoples work, but asking for credit for code which is similar to other code, is both desperate and tantamount to asking a painter to credit the manufacturer of his/her brushes and canvas. This CC is community driven, I have always said it is free code, if people want to alter it, re-post, or make suggestions, or helpful changes to the actual code then I would be very happy. And again....; If I have used your genius in this CC then PM me and I'll HAPPILY credit you!
