Flying mount in outlands and northern

Whoa, why? When was this decided?

 

Truely a sad day today... I was looking forward to the day where we could fly.

 

Ya but GB is a farming tool. I want flying so I can jump quicker between hotspots on honorbuddy. So I can get XP even faster!

 

flying will be implemented most likely more when cataclysm comes out since it will be open fly zone on most maps... just not now in the next few releases.. as they still have raf issues and questing as a priority..

 

It really has nothing to do with that. It's most likely a marketing issue.. They are worried that HB with flying with make GB obsolete. Which just isn't the case. But either way they decided again adding flying which I personally think it's a mistake.

 

Wait... I'm confused. I thought Tony just said no plans at all for flying mounts?

 

might suck to have a aio bot...then, have a stand alone..and have it 2 different prices... hawker/bossland are trying to code a great bot for us.. and the other devleopers asking for things for there software as well... tony's a mod and tester not a dev. nothing against that... (i would like the same spot)...but im mean to people sometimes... lol but back on topic flying... some newer quest might have this... as a necessary quest tool.. and like i said wont be implemented as of now or in the near future more of a down the road thing... as for gb hahah gb is desgined with gold as a priority for items repairs and real cash outside of the game.. wont go anywhere... hb is a level/pvp bot and a goal of hb is to decrease the time it takes to make characters because of remakes from banwaves or needing a friend character to be 80+ for raiding .. and other needs... so why wouldnt they make it fly in time... its just evolution of there coding they said while making gb no pvp then honor buddy pops up lol so just wait....and see

So the reason why flying mounts aren't supported yet are because the code doesn't work well with them yet?

 

Mostly that is the reason.

 

I died in Storm Peak the other day and it flew using the ghost mount back to my body, so it seems as though it is possible/ already in there.

 

i dont think its a marketing issue. BUT!!! if it is an issue... they(boss/hawk) can release GB lifetime with a special HB that enables flying and it has to go through a certain auth server just for gb lifetime users?

i dunno, but GB pays the bills, hb is just fine, but they're trying to make it better. what i want (in this order) is:

relogger (gb/hb) + wow restarter (if gb/hb goes down) and it properly attaches said bot to said acct

then questing

 

Ofcourse it have something with the marketing to do.

 

It's not just to reach places unavailable with ground mount, its way faster also Would make it alot faster tbh.
