Although I'm a bit worried whether the quest api increases your chance of detection :S

 

Don't play with us xD tonight in european timezone or samoan? lol

 

So will questing know to complete ALL quests in a zone (thus getting the achievement) or will it only do what it sees in areas of where it's at? How blind is it? Can we add a database or edit one so it only completes the ones we want?

If there's a quest database I could see the questing going similar to the guides out there like Zygor's or something...

 

Not trying to downplay what your saying, but logically... wouldn't that work? That's similar to how glider worked, except it used a rootkit.

 

Hmmm it's now 4.45 am and no questing update is out, so I go to bed now^^

Furthermore I guess it comes out depending on samoan time

If you look at 7000 quest and alliance areas. This is not small task. Really
I would like to see their ideas on what they really plan on doing with the questing.
I really think that everyone is looking for a quest button and I am level 8....ding me when I am 80.
Aint going to happen.

Really just to get the quest and some pathing for 1-10 in every starting area would take a LONG TIME

 

I think that the bot gets the information on the quests and where to go from the WoW-client or am I mistaken?

 

Why not, AIO bot have allmost the same, just no trainer and a bad Navsystem... and on ppather was some questing tasks include train working too...

 

Simey I think that in the first post they mentioned a way to tell it what quest not to take in you profile.
So you may be correct. It just runs to a quest giver and grabs all quest, unless one is in the do not take list.

Then the profile or the code would have to have an area to go complete the quest with factions.
I know that with glider and ppather a long time ago they got it to do some amazing things.
I had a couple of chrs that went to desolace and ended up in tanaris 20 levels later...and it was amazing.
I also had some chrs in zangamarsh that couldn't do anything right LOL

 

Will the questing let it interact with objects, for instance in the tauren starting zone picking up the water, and What will happen with questing and Raf?

 

We are on schedule to release a questing beta today. Right now we are looking at stability issues caused by the way we use SmartAssembly. Hopefully we can release after that. Give us 6 hours or so
