Poll: Would you still play WOW without botting?

I was almost done with WoW when I found HB. It's kept my interest for the past several months. I've probably only got a few months left before I'm finally done. Just getting tired of it. I definitely won't be here for Kung Fu Panda. This game is getting too long in the tooth.

I only kept playing wow because of hb and pqr. But now d3 has my intrest and wow is no longer profitable for me i have let my main account expire and have sold off my botting accounts.

Wow honestly is prob dying and d3 has pulled a decent amount of their player base away.

 

Yes wow will be strong for more years to come yet nothing touches it

 

Quit wow few months ago, and I would have done it a lot sooner if it wasn't for HB. It just became a crappy boring game with a really stupid player base. The pandas xpac is childish, and the game is childish enough already.

SWTOR all the way for me now, purely for PVP and a bit of D3 whenever I have a few mins to spare.

 

Not a chance. I couldn't spend countless hours gathering/selling just for a few gold. I suppose I could play the auction house endlessly buying low/selling high, but when would I have time to enjoy the game?

For my personality, HB is money well spent and wow would be too tedious without it.

 

No i wouldnt be able to play as many hours as i bot as i have a 'life' i dont like spending endless hours farming, leveling, But i would be able to play but not as Much

 

I wouldnt. I stopped playing when glider went down, started again with pyrox and stopped when it went down. I only play again because of honorbuddy. I cant see myself grinding for pvp gear or crafting mats because it is just way too boring and absolutly not fun. An mmo without a bot is just out of the question.

 

So...basically you're too lazy to...sit in a chair and play a game?

 

i would play just raiding but lvling i would never do its fucking long road i cant do it again it messed up my play time once i toughed glider for first time but i have now almost all classes and enough gold so ye i would just do raiding only

 

I just play the parts that are fun for me : raids, pvp when im geared and can compete with other players, group up with friends or play world of ah : ) the rest doesn't interest me.

Well let me answer your question with another question::: Would you still drive without a car??? ;-) Same thing!!!!!

 

I actually haven't even used HB to bot for almost a year on my account, I do however use it to farm and sell gold on 2 other accounts, May not make much money but it pays for my games, and that's all i wanted it for in the first place.

 

I have 3 accounts. Usually I am playing one while botting 2. I just use it to maximize gain. I've played without bots since Pre-BC, I can do it again if I choose. When you have a job you tend to not have time. This helps.

I bot because there a lot of ridiculous things in this game and there is no way to get around them without a bot.

Just to name a few.

-Leveling. Seriously. Leveling takes way too long for even the most patient gamer, especially when you want to level a character of each class so you can experience the game in its full glory and beauty.
-Gathering. Just too tedious and boring and there is little that can be done to relieve this. All you do is run in circles in a zone for hours. Even the most patient people can get bored to death if they have to do it for years.
-Raiding. Everybody expects you to follow the EJ rotation and talent builds to the letter, while paying attention to tricky mechanics and standing out of trouble. Underperformance is always rewarded with a shitstorm and a kick. Some classes have ridiculously complex and tricky mechanics, which simply make it hard for the average player, who is actually the majority of players in WoW to do it all.
-PVP. Same story. Who takes random BG's seriously ? Nobody, that's who. Everyone knows you are there to just grab your entry level gear and then we all move on and start doing either Arenas or RBG's, which is where the real battle is at.
-Dungeon grind. Seriously, it's just too tedious, and the fact that we all know we will be spending the next two weeks acquiring gear we are going to be replacing immediately after that doesn't help at all. Dungeons feel like a total waste of time and effort, and no, they are not fun after the first few runs. Especially if you want to also gear an alt or two.

Other games offer the ability to buy items or golds for cheap, from their online stores, or even have ingame stores and there is no reason Blizzard shouldn't do it too. Just because there is a vocal minority of BC losers who keep screaming "we didn't have it that easy, keep the game hard" doesn't mean Blizzard should comply with their demands on every step. We all saw what happened when they announced that Cata dungeons will be hard - 2 Million subscribers left immediately. That's way more than the BC fanbase will ever be, but eventually every time a new xpack is released Blizzard caves in under the ridiculous demands of people who just can't move on and evolve with the rest of the community.

Blizzard should just take a firm stance on this and decide whether they want to develop the game to attract new players, or they will keep it as a closed secret clubhouse for elitists with too high to justify self-esteem only. Yes, maybe some subscribers will leave, but this will be the end of those mass unsubscribing waves, as after those elitsts leave, there will be no one to stay in the way of making the game more user friendly and lots of new people will be happy to discover this exciting world that is Azeroth.

 

No I wouldn't be playing anymore. I'm a casual player. What I really hate are reoccuring task like the dailies. I just don't want to do days and days the same thing. I like go raiding with friends and don't waste my time for farming, etc.

it's sad to admit it, but no. I dont even care about using skills anymore. Just fire up lazyraider and favorite cc's. I guess I as well can quit wow and play fpsgames. But seriously. The content is so boring now, so mainly bot to havve something to do. Prolly leaving wow now to play TSW and GW2.
