that's an HB issue, i doubt i can do anything about it, but i'll look into it this can be done more than likely. ill look further into it nice to see you on a shaman again but dont go horde join us, the space aliens also i probably wont release by the time questing will be here i still have loads of work on it and i'm allready cursing at the project XD
sometimes when it heals in bg's it does following -heal target -mount up -dismount -and try heal target more is there a reason behind this? when i caught my shaman doing this I just have got out of combat and after first heal the hunter(the healed dude) mounted up and then shamwow mounted up aswell but then dismounted and tried to heal again and then the hunter waited patiently for my shaman to fully heal him the funny part of this is, i think ''is this some kind of hard coding?'' since i also noticed that when some1 is just passing by it only attempt 1-2 heals and don't begin blacklisting ppl or such anyway good luck on this upcomming cc EDIT: Nvm
Dont know if it was mentioned (or implemented) but maybe having the shaman go into ghost wolf between mobs opposed to running? Obviously it mounts depending on how far it will travel, but if it could go ghost wolf if the range of the next mob is like 40yards or something that'd be sick.

i have a problem where it doesnt buff a shield or buff my weapons, check log please.... also it need to buff first if it doesn't it the char wont move. i did buff it manually and the char moved on with profile. also it doesn't even use spells to kill targets it just 'auto attacks'
love the cc.. but with the totem... i've watched mine in pve and pvp situations, both single and multiple mobs and its never launched totems. I'm not sure why but you'd think with 2 or 3 mobs attacking my toon.. it would set the totems out (either pve or pvp)... any idea where i'd look? there is no errors coming up so not sure whats going on
I see people reporting errors from this cc and I already seen people talking about it, did i miss the download post or its just for some people at the moment?
You are right and wrong at the same time. The included Shaman CC with HB2 is simply a updated version of the old ShamWoW to match the HB2 API, however even though it's named ShamWoW 4.0 it's not what is talked about here. Xvamp is completely rewriting ShamWoW from the ground up as we speak. What is included with HB2 is not his current CC rewrite project for a Shaman CC but only a updated version so it works with HB2. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
you are totally right and to amaya, the defauly shaman cc that comes in hb2 is my cc thats updated to work with HB2.

i have 2 shamans and i dont use the HB2 shaman profile. i use the hb1.6 r 1.7. but here is what i like to see added that i dont see. 1.) Would love to see it use bandages instead of casting healing wave after the mob or mobs are dead. this would save mana and use up all the bandages we have from lvling first aid. i only seen one profile that use bandage support and that was the rogue profile. 2.) IT would be nice to have the option of choosing which weapon buffs you want on your weapons. i know some like dual windfury while others like windfury/flametongue. some might want other buffs instead for pvp. 3.) what about an option to use scrolls. the ones we seem to collect while grinding or lvling inscription 4.) i have seen a profile use lifeblood to heal so it needs to be added. 5.) i agree with the other posts about not pulling up totems unless out of range of them. the bloodlust or heroism would be nice as mention b4. shamanistc rage and hex would be great. 6.) i also notice it not using the maelstrom buff that often. i think its and accident when it does. if the mob is less than 20% it would be nice to use it instead of wasting it. 7.) it would be GREAT to be able to chose your own rotation like what spells has the highest priority. but thats a lot of code. and i know i hate writing programs. so i feel your pain. 8.) this is a kicks n giggles request. if you dont mind will u add a /laugh or /sit get up /sit get up to make the pvp really look not bot like after a kill and there is no player 30 yards (emeny player that is). nothing spells you suck at pvp like a tee bag or /laugh just want to add my drops totems on multiply mobs. i havent seen it not drop totems on more than 2 mobs. but i use hb1 for my shaman. didnt want to us hb2 yet with all the bugs for shamans
Thanks for the great post! I'll respond to each of the points but try will keep it concise. 1. Bandages. Support is added in a version to be released. 2. Temporary Weapon Enchant selection. Support is added in a version to be released. 3. Scrolls. Good idea. Will consider the proper mechanics of this and add to work for a subsequent release. 4. Profile for lifeblood. By profile I am guessing you mean CC. ShamWOW already supports the use of Lifeblood if your have Herbalism. It is saved for low mana high stress situations so hopefully wouldn't be cast that often given the lengthy cooldown. However, can see where casting it earlier could prevent downtime since it uses no mana so will look at this for future release. 5. Reclaiming totems only when out of range. Support added in version to be released. 6. Maelstrom is used when it gets to 5 stacks allowing the attack or heal to be instant. That's important since it doesn't reset the swing timer while doing it at 4 or less does. If healing is needed it will cast at 4 stacks since healing is such a high priority event, but otherwise it will always wait to 5. Some change perhaps would be possible to allow use in finishing a mob off, so long as its not a multimob fight and waiting for a 5 stack would be better. 7. Rotation selection. Not sure but that may be something that xvampx is working on for his upcoming release. The goal of ShamWOW is to provide a small but reasonable set of options to control behavior that works will in grinding, questing, and pvp providing maximum leveling speed across a reasonable variation of fights. Where it makes sense due to wide variations in how to fight (Fire Resistant Elementals vs. Nature Resitstant Elementals) or personal preference (Weapon Enchantment) the option to choose will be provided in a GUI or config file. The spell rotation for ShamWOW is more complex than priority based selection of the next spell available for casting. It attempts to evaluate the current fight situation and choose the next spell accordingly (such as identifying stressful situations mentioned above), dynamically adjusting the health % to heal at (when fighting Elites for example), etc. Providing the ability to select spells and assign a priority for their use is pretty straight forward and could be done. To match current behavior of the CC, it would also have to support the specification of addtional criteria as to when those priorities should change. That becomes much more complex to do in a way that satisifies both the advanced user and the new user. I believe it would also stray from the design objective of ShamWOW. So even though it would be cool, I'll have to fight the urge to implement that feature and instead focus on incorporating users feedback on the current rotation.
Would be nice using totems if mobs are >=3 searing, stoneclaw and healing stream and fire nova aswell.
