[Plugin - Monitoring] BuddyProwl 4

thank you very much for that plugin, its the very best so far!!! working so smoothly im just sittin on tha couch, watchin movies and waitin till my ipod touch makes that "paping" and then i know my toon has leveled up (in the best case, but also really usefull to get informed when he dies)

but i think there are plenty of usefull options to add, this plugin has huge potential!

has been using the plugin mainly with questing, to level my toon


some suggestions to add, when possible, i thought about:

-alert when bot gets stuck (detect like, when not grinding, and being more than 10minutes within 10yards range or on the same coords)

-getting pvp-killed (if not bg bot) or small death report (npc/ pvp player/falling/drowning)

-and my favorite: interacting with honorbuddy itself (useful at questing profiles), like: honorbuddy requires some user-interaction (popup message) > send it to notifo

 

Can you (or anyone else with more talent than me ) make this work with notify my android?
Have tried changind the url from notifo but no joy and clearly I dont really know what I'm doing...

 

I always seem to get this error when pushing notifications of any kind, Any help would be appreciated.

I have all of the API settings correct and i have my API secret off the site correct as well? Is there anything i can do =/ Thanks

Simply telling me it doesn't work doesn't help any of us. And it works perfectly fine for me.

 

Notifio.com down so this plugin doesn't work =[

 

Notifo works for me.. but I'm getting this on startup:

[BuddyProwl] - Checking for updates!
[BuddyProwl] - Couldn't check for updates, maybe the server is down.

 

I tried having it push a message but it does nothing. Notifio.com is for sale it looks for me.

 

Same now what to use for android??

 

Yes, my server is down since I've been away for the weekend. Notifo should still be fine.

 

Notifo is no longer in development since October 2011.

Android phones can't receive pushes by Notifo, you always have to open up Notifo app yourself and check if there have been messages, which is not the way it should be.

Does somebody know of alternatives for working pushes on whispers for Android users?

I'm not sure what you are doing, but it is still working for me. And yes, I'm on android.

 

thats the reason it wasnt working...... anyway i switched to PushNotify, better stability and more functions

 

Really so it alerts you?? Mine has not been working and can not not figure out why. It does push it to the app but does not alert me I have to manually go to the application on my phone to see the the alerts, which makes it pointless.

Ive reinstalled both programs still the same problem.

 

Anyway to get it so you could whisper back through Notifo?

To be honest, I clearly state in my first post, that I share this with all of you because you might want to use this like I do. And since it works for me, I don't care about all your shitty comments about Notifo not working, when it obviously does.

I am in no way supporting this for you guys, I keep it updated for my own sake. So please stop with all these comments already.

Was thinking about useful feature for those who use HB for lvling toons. Something like pushed notification if no XP gain for more than X mins.

Any chance to put it into BuddyProwl?

 

wow, why do you think you are able to say notifo still works? do you tested it through the different new android versions? probably not, and thats the reason it isn't working for everyone anymore.
