Now that i got the writings from blizzard,

which are over 100 pages long, i will analyze them a bit here.

      literal translation
Ok so, this massive multiplayer online roleplay game, where you at best can only join with 3 other friends, is crowded by bots in your private games, where you guys open a lot of support of tickets to get rid of the bots ? Please stop it! It hurts Blizzard.

Then, the Left Click, Left Click, Left Click, 2, Rightclick ~repeat 100??????, is not long term unattractive, no its the automation software that gets rid of the frustration of how the game is designed. Let me remember : Left Click, Left Click, Left Click, 2, Rightclick ~repeat 100??????

So now the bots are harming the massive SINGLEPLAYER game, because they do what?

      literal
I do not know, but do they really talk about the Singleplayer Game Diablo III ? If anyone has found the "Massive Multiplayer Features" yet, please inform me asap!

Diablo III has also a global multiplayer modus, how would you discribe it? I can't.

In the case they also mention that there was a discussion on eu.battle.net forums, if Bots schould be allowed in Diablo III, now imagine what the non-censored folks decided ? This is really in the case .... they put a manipulated forum decision on their own forums AS PROVEMENT!

they even quoted one guy who told: We pray to God that something like this never comes

So far just the highlights till page 17, next post to come, just thought its too interrestion to wait for.

      Lets go further,

there are few numbers about how much they pay for customer support in EU and US, right after that they mention:
Risk Services and Risk Operation that do search for Bots, Hacks and likely software is 12 people only in Europe, which i honestly do not believe, why should they search for a automation software that is not against the rules?

What in their opinion is what we do:

      1. Geziehlte Behinderung ?4. Nr.10 UWG // Aimed Interference

      2. Unlauteres Verleiten zum Vertragsbruch // Unfair to induce breach of contract

      3. Vertriebsbezogene Behinderung durch empfindlichen Eingriff in das Spielsystem von Diablo III // sales-related disability through sensitive intervention into the game system from Diablo III

      4. Mittbewerber // Competitor

The a lot of screenshots from the forum, and even some from Laria and Freeze that are no employees or have any connection to the company, besides moderating the forum. Ofc also some of me, Nesox and Hawker.

Could you by chance post these?
I'm just wondering why they insist on doing this, because they did the same with Honorbuddy.

I'm curious how close this document is to what they would use for Wow...seems like a copy and paste.

Granted I pulled that off wikipedia but it still goes to show that 4 =/= hundreds and all private games causes no interaction with others outside of the AH which if anything we would supply more items for blizzard to make money off of. I'm sure blizzard would say no because then other players couldn't sell stuff as easy when they find that one item and would leave which is complete speculation and I'm sure they have no proof in anything they say other than the censored posts in the forums. Should just show them the posts here that say they will stop playing D3 if they cannot bot. :p

Should also mention the number of people who threaten to quit because of a blizzard change and never end up quitting. Forums are unreliable.

I have never seen a botter in any of my games!

Also, Bossland, you should change everyone's forum title to "Staff"

You could always argue, that DB doesn't require them to invest in staff to detect it, attempts are futile ;)

However they do have a point about botting interfering with the singleplayers via AH prices as an example. The inflation due to bots/scripts is huge, there is no denying it.

250h played, picked up around 7 mil gold. That is a number the less then average script does per 2 days. So the effect on the single player game is there and there is not even a point to argue over the self-found thing, because the dropchances are lowered, because of the AH so they might aswell use it. Still good luck.

They count every npc and mob as a "player" and these mobs complain because the bot kills him each time ;-)

It would ask blizz who the hell could diablo be sold out on every store while bots killed the game feeling?

I think they count their people who fights againt hacks (dupe hack and so one) as "anti bot" fighters.

Why do we bot? Because we don't like to play the boring part again and again. We could see the inferno mode bot but don't want to do the same over and over. Okay they get less form the monthly feed because we quit the game faster? Oh wait...

I use HB and DB, simple to take the chore of farming required materials just to play the game out of the equation, and without these programs i very much doubt i would play any blizzard games apart from sc2.

I cant deny that all the botters spamming chat does cause the game to be unattractive and possible causes lose of sales or long term use of the rmah... but i don't believe blizzard has any case in that section what so ever.

None of this can possibly be controlled by bossland nor should they be held accountable for what their customers do. i do have to admit, the disappearance of gold farmers from general chat is the only good thing that has come of this. But i really hope bossland wins the case. At the same time if they do win i wish the users of this program would think about their actions in game.

i know alot of u rely on these kind of bot to make a living, but really dose the general chat windows need to be blanketed with spam to the point the chat function is useless for people playing the game.

You can argue that most botters are more likely to buy multiple copies which increases revenue for blizzard.

And that people also wouldn't even buy the game or continuing purchasing it's services without using a bot, which means the bot provides revenue to blizzard from multiple angles.

blizz will argue, botters lowers the value of random drops. So random drops will be sold for less in RMAH und Blizzard will get less money due the fee

it would be difficult for blizzard to buy a honorbuddy licence to view the forum as customer.
So this would not give any security
