ShamWOW for HB2 - An Enhance/Elemental/Resto + PVP/RaF Healbot by Bobby53

Hey Bobby, I just wanted to thank you for the best CC EVER. I'm always the top healer in LFR and Guild Runs... And it handles my mana exceptionally well. None of the other healing CCs work like this one in terms of hps and mana handling... This is godlike!!! (i wish you could code something like this for priests and paladins... hehe... just kidding!).

A quick question: Are you going to update it for MoP? (when the time comes, of course, not now)

 

tentiontwooone, Thanks for posting and providing a complete debug log. The problem you are encountering is due to having an extremely old version of ShamWOW that is no longer supported. The relevant line from your log file:

There have been 26 releases since then with the most recent being 4.5.21. ShamWOW 4.3.15 has unforutnately been bundled by the Buddy team with HonorBuddy, so any time you make a fresh install or you update of HonorBuddy you will need to re-install ShamWOW. Be certain to follow the instructions in the ShamWOW FAQ regarding installation so you extract all contents and not just the ShamWOW folder. Hi Bobby, i tried this in LFR and i noticed that whilst moving it did not cast any healing spells.I made sure Spiritwalker's Grace was used but it didnt change anything.

pkinrules, Thank you very much for the post and complete debug log file. Currently the only support for Spiritwalker's Grace is casting for the haste buff as part of the T13 bonus. However, I had already begun adding support for allowing casting while moving if Spiritwalker's Grace is active or the Glyph of Unleashed Lightning is slotted in the next release. It will take sometime for me to complete however as it required some fairly extensive changes for this and some other improvements. Hopefully it will be worth the wait. In the meantime, should you need to cast Spiritwalker's Grace to allow casting while moving, you can manually cast spells while it is active without interruption from ShamWOW. hbaioni, Thank you for sharing your ShamWOW success! +rep I am not sure what all my plans for MoP are, but I will be updating ShamWOW to reflect the changes to Shaman in that expansion as I have for past patches and expansions. Some things I will be able to mock for testing in Cata, but inevitably it will require testing and revisions cycle with MoP so there will be some delay in release after HonorBuddy becomes available. As for changes being made now, I am making some architectural changes that will be in the next release to hopefully boost healer numbers slightly and PVE DPS numbers a good bit. It's touched a large part of the code however so is taking a good bit of testing before being ready to release as BETA. Look for it in the next week or so. Bobby53

in this Case the problem is the following:
You have got 2 copies of ShamWOW in your folder. The first is in the folder ShamWOW and the second in ShamWOW! .
This causes errors. Please remove atleast one of them.

If you just installed or updated HonorBuddy to the latest version, remember you need to reinstall ShamWOW. Also, reinstalling ShamWOW means extracting all .ZIP contents and not just the ShamWOW folder. For details see the FAQ previously linked. Good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

 

Bobby im on my third shamwow shaman different servers 2 complet 1 horde 1 alli 3rd horde again sham wow is just frickin awesome. on a side note maybe not everyone knows who that is in ur profile pic but if thats you you are my idol IRL you rock

 

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. As another side side note , I hope you create a Monk CC bobby as shamwow is just excellent.

 

I have a problem with this cc. Whenever i try to start the bot while shamWOW is loaded my wow totally lags. It lags so much and just stands there doing some weird jumps while trying to heal, This makes healing impossible for it in dungeons.
HonorBuddy Mode: Dungeonbuddy
Shamans Location:Blackfathom deeps
What should have happened (be specific):It should have healed the group!
What did happen (be specific):Wow lagged out and the bot could not move because of the lag
Computer time of problem or log mark (not realm time):No idea.
Note: This problem started when i began using dungeonbuddy

 

Hi Mariuz, for Bobby to be able to help you sort out your problem, you need to post a full logfile of the event.

 

I try this with Dungeonbuddy Beta, I got 2 shamans, same level/plugins/settings/bot config/class config. One will work flawlessly and follow the leader/tank in the dungeon. The other will only move if in combat, after combat it till just stand still looking.

I have compared the log-file side-by-side and the only different is:
"[talent] Ancestral Swiftness: must stop to cast Ghost Wolf " - Not moving shaman

Both Elemental specced. What is wrong?

Edit:
If I try to move my character it will cancel any movement every ~third second

 

Kloppe, Thanks for the post and my apologies for any issues encountered. I looked at the log file named "log file of not moving shaman.txt" need your help with a couple things:

1. It is a partial log file. For me to look into issues I need a complete debug log file.

2. I need the local system time that you observe it not moving or a logmark reference. In other words, a specific moment in time where you are certain it should be moving and its not.

Now I think this is Dungeonbuddy-related. Did some more testing.
