I don't disapprove - in fact, I made it easy to customize classes with my plugin to encourage people to make their own "versions" of them. Although I see that you didn't figure out how to do it.. If you check out the different class files (maybe except DH) in my plugin, you can see some different examples. I will soon make updates that include a few more Barb abilities, but as I don't have a barb myself atm, it will be a bit limited as I'm not able to test (although if someone gives me a thorough explanation of how the different abilities should be used, I could implement them anyway). If you use my newest version of the plugin, you'll see the updates coming every time you open DB more or less
are the updates saved local? i trie a batch script mentioned here on the forum, but when i want to use it (it automaticaly kills db/db3 when it crashes every hour and starts them) it always loads r30 of your profile and i can't figure out why (have the latest version "upgraded")
Irengo I was doing some tests and noticed that the ideal is start the mantra whyt the breat of heaven. In this way begins to regenerate spirit from the beginning and you can use in the cellar tempesh rush! Please test this.. is a good improvement. Thank you the plugin works excelent!
Could you have it either leap to, or even over the first mobs as a barb, similar to Slippy Pete's profile?
I am aware i didnt do it the right way, said as much in my post =p. Well i did look into the Class specific folder but only looked at the barbarian file which did not tell me much on how to use skills, it only included the safe tp function. I'll try to work something more elegant out, though my crude method worked. Basically the skills are used in this order. Warcry and WOTB on the spot. Leap towards the first group of monsters, cast sprint. Run all the way to the door, it needs to be closer than the position for leap, and then use charge.
make a new folder with fresh db 160. download newest sarkoth. update it. replace the files as said in the thread. should work. its always best to do a fresh clean install rather then just overwriting files.
Check the "known issues" on page one, that explains the update behaviour a bit better. Also, if you run such a batch-script I can understand you might want to disable updates. Currently, the easiest way to do so is by opening the settings file (DB/Settings/Battletag/SarkothFarmer) and change the version number in there. It will only try to update if the online version is higher than your local. I will add a setting to disable update in the next update, I hadn't thought of it interfering with reloggers/batch scripts
Right when you use the mantra, you have 24% extra damage, but only for a few seconds. Because of this, you want to use mantra right before attacking Sarkoth
UPDATE: I've added that setting. I've also fixed so that it will only prompt for update once, even with several battletags.
I have updated my barbarian optimization, it now fully uses Inrego's plugin to use skills, both Belphegor routine and Sarkoth Inrego.xml should be reverted to the original files which i have included in the folder original. Rest of the files should be replacing the approriate files. TAKE NOTE: This time the Barbarian.cs should replace the one in inrego's plugin folder in "class specifics". While the Barbarian.cs in my "original" folder is the original Belphegor routine. This should be a lot smoother at the start, casting leap instantaneously instead of running first. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lyh2023olmqz6ij/Derek's%20Inrego%20modded%20files%20Version2.rar
Thank you for all of the awesome updates. So far with the latest DB and your SF plugin, things are going good. I have a question though, shouldn't my Monk be using the SSS right when he approaches the mob, rather than when he's almost done destroying them?
Hmm - yeah he should. Do you have enough spirit when you get there? My plugin should use SSS as soon as you approach.
Awesome. I was asking Inrego in a PM to integrate my profile into his. Seems you beat me to it, LOL Edit: I tried it. DB gave me errors, must be me messing up. I had to comment out the following in statemanager to get it to work Testing how it runs now.
I had enough spirit when I was using 1.2.6 for the past week (even earlier today). Now with the latest version, SSS is not being used first or there is just not enough spirit I guess. I can post a log if you'd like. Edit: When he gets to the mob he still has 75 spirit left. Costs 50 for SSS. I'm only using your plug in with your monk.cs file, that's it.
Nah a log wouldn't help me much in this case. Are you able to see why you don't have enough spirit for SSS?
Well he uses conviction right before he attacks Sark, that leaves 25 spirit left. I have everything set up exactly to your high dps monk profile.
