Please reconsider warzone boting being last on your list. I need a warzone bot to get the gear a lil faster so I can keep up with buds. I am married, have kids, and have LIFE AGGRO at all times. Anyways,..,thanks for everythign you guys do and good luck just wanted to say my piece., Thanks a million for honorbuddy!!! Cheers
Just to make sure there's a countervoice in this topic: I really couldn't care less about warzones. Please let the devs keep this feature way at the bottom of the pile because I want everything else a *LOT* more than this.
what would benefit you from everything else? .. space missions = creds/lvl, questing = creds/lvl, warzone = creds/lvl/gear .. so as i see it, warzone bot would benefit the most....
Well luckily that's not the focus that the Buddy Team has for the bot right now. They've said that any sort of automated PvP is very low on their list.
Also once you start botting pvp you will get more player reports. Most people dont care if they see bot farmin, but mess with there pvp ohh no look out. Flame war. Most people that bot and pvp would say same thing also I would think. They want challenge, not easy bot kills. Or they want real people on there team, not bumpin into walls bots. So ya I agree, keep warzonones on bottom. My list, crafting, then space missions. Would like to farm on companions as I quest/grind now. Then combine space craft. Oh ya.
I am using honorbuddy (only pvp) in wow nearly 20/7 since a very long time. Never had any problems with it, its working fine, a way better than most of the fat handed kids out there. Shouldn't be too hard for the good coders to make a working pvp-bot like the one they made for wow. There are already good space bots and even free ones. I am using one to make money and level my chars, it is working incredible easy and fine. Hoping to see a working pvp-bot soon instead of the crappy pve-shit If this feature is coming i will glady pay 10?/month just to have good eq. when its needed.
Space missions = creds/lvl/GEAR, questing = creds/lvl/GEAR, warzone = creds/lvl/unwantedPVPgear. So as I see it, warzone bot is useless whilst making sure the Questbot is good gives all kinds of impressive commendations and gear to go with it.
please link the gear that you can use in HM fp's that you get from questing and space missions .. because you can run HM fp's in BM/WH gear
maybe in the future specially if the future of the game turns out to be, not so questionable. but right now space missions are the main thing for us, along with flushing out CC issues and profiles. im sure pvp can be added in the future, but for right now its out of the question.
I really don't need to link it.... - Daily Commendation gear is perfect for running HM FPs - Black Hole Commendation gear is the best that's currently available. Questing will get you almost there.
Yeah, the 5 black hole commendations you can get weekly from questing is awesome. Grinding out BM and War Hero from PVP would be a lot more useful.
nono you get 5 black hole commendations daily but still need like 50 or so for 1 item, but the daily commendations are shit to get from questing, takes you like 10-12 days to get 1 item, and you can only buy earpiece/implants items.' where you can with BM/WH get it faster....
"Honorbuddy" is a marketing term, nothing more. It is not a list of requirements or feature priorities for a bot. ANY of the social gear filled with the rewards from doing dailies makes you HM/Ops ready. The armor you can buy from the Mission Supply vendors with normal daily tokens is just fine to get started. Done it this way many, many times. Its also the quickest path to Ops that I have discovered. The BHtoken gear is the best in the game, at the moment--this includes Ops drops. So, thinking you need BHtoken gear to do ops is incorrect. If you have BHtoken gear, you wouldn't be doing Ops at all, because it would be a downgrade. This is also why the BHtokens are only awarded at a few-per-week, as they discourage participation in HMs & Ops. Playing in Ops/Raids with a PvP-geared player is simply miserable. He doesn't carry his load, and makes excuses. He may think he's 'uber' in PvE, but trust me, his peers don't. They usually consider him to be a friend otherwise he wouldn't be in the raid, and they are too polite to say anything about the underperformance. ^This^ is a universal truth of every MMO I've every played for the last 13 years. PvPers are the [strikethrough]biggest babies and whiners[/strikethrough] most vocal in the playerbase. "The other guy" always has an unfair advantage, "The other guy", "report this guy", "noobs", "unfair", "bot doesn't do". Its all just loud vocalization that many of us do not agree with. Not to be a troll or flamebait, but there are plenty of dissenting opinions. Most of the time, we just remain quiet while the squeaky wheels do their thing. The BWdev team has set their priorities for a reason--what they believe will maximize their revenue stream. In most botting products, the vast majority of the revenue stream comes from farmer-types. These people buy dozens of bot copies, and frequently need to level new accounts as the old ones get suspended. So, priorities are usually given to features that speed leveling and daily interaction within a PvE environment. Your pleadings are fair to state your position, but expect rebuttals from those that disagree. cheers, chinajade
Space missions = creds/lvl/GaY-PvE-GEAR, questing = creds/lvl/GaY-PVE-GEAR, warzone = creds/lvl/WANTED-PVPgear. BTW, there are a very lot of Space Bots already working...
WH gear is a lot better for PVE than the daily comms mods. WH is just a bit better then Columi for PVE.
I would think that most people would be clever enough to identify a bot in a War-zone just by the behavior of how the bot would function, which may raise awareness of your character using a bot and having other players kick up a fuss about you or report you. Surely it's best to keep the bots functionality to single/solo playable aspects of the game for now.
