I looked at my chr and about half his inventory is gone. NOT anything he mined. At first I was thinking he went to repair and sold it all. So I run to the repair and no buy back. HUH????? then I get on the alt I mailed stuff to. THIS IS WEIRD. Most of the stuff my chr is missing is mailed to the alt. Food, drink, heal and mana potions etc. plus I don't know what the F this is but he has 8 empty mails. HOW do you mail NOTHING????? NO minerals were mailed even though he had 2 bags full. what should be mailed ??? is there any control on what ???
He could aswell have sold to a vendor. I think it's within an hour you have to buyback. I might be wrong aswell. Sorry for your loss m8..
Anything that is not in the first bag (your backpack) will get mailed. Your first bag should contain your tools for your trade (mining pick, skinning knife,etc), your food/drink, your hearthstone, and anything else you want to keep. Also, make sure you aren't using any inventory stacking/moving mod, as it will move things out of the first bag.
I experienced if you enable to auto repair at 50% durability and enable loot mail to alt and you dont have enough money to repair it keeps sending empty mails with "76" in the subject to your alt.
It's not only when you don't have enough money to mail. I have plenty of money to mail or repair, and still get around 5-9 empty mails with a number, and a few loaded mails with another number in my mailbox. So it's not only when you don't have money. But as long as I get my stuff it's fine with me. HB also had the issue of making lots of empty mails in the past. I don't experience that anymore with HB. Maybe some code should be transferred to GB structure for mailing (and likely when the GB plugin comes it's all finished).
I've only had the empty mail problem once, it was last week. I forget why it was doing it, but it ended up hitting my AH toon with 2,945 empty mails. That was fun to delete
Get the goin postal addon lol. It auto opens and deletes everything. If you combine it with loot filter you don't even send crappy stuff and waste your time.
It's gotta be an addon. I have 2 accounts that automail to my banker. 1 account has no addons and mails perfectly everynight. The 2nd account has several ah/economy addons. The account with all the addons causes something to happen with HB/GB. For every good mail sent i get around 20 empty ones with crazy titles of items I dont even have on that character. I ususally get about 50 each night and just delete them. I have not been motivated enough to start turning the addons off to see which might be screwing up the mail.
What addons I have on the bot UI is simple to sort for me: 1) Atlasloot (due to Passloot) 2) Lootfilter 3) PallyPower (it's switched off, when I'm not using my pally so invalid here) 4) Passloot (requires Atlasloot for the wishlist feature I use) 5) SpamMeNot (Best addon ever) 6) TomTom (Used for Zygor) 7) ZygorGuidesViewer (It's switched off when I'm botting) 8) ZygorTalentAdvisor 9) Wowhead Looter Those are all the addons I use with the bot UI. If you want a list with addons from my RaidUI I can make a screenshot (because that's around 120 of em in LoD setup, lol).
I noticed you will sometimes get mail that after taking the item in it,can't be deleted for 5 mins or so till server updates. its glitchy like that
Answer to answer all questions man is here! My prediction is that it will mail empty mails if you for instance are a warlock and create a soul shard which is then placed in bag number 3. That soul bound item is not able to be mailed, but gatherbuddy does not realize this. Thus the empty mailing starts. Thank you and good night.
