It is current alpha. But i think it is getting better and better push notification is working in the app i have it on my phone to test before i release it.
it should run on my own server, i must allow external access to my MySQL DB right ? that the DSN entry works? then i must use dyndns against the change from my local pc ip or rather it has an static ip, right too? While i never re-entry my ip to my webserver?! what are the safety risk when i do so? srry englisch not very good
I have mine running on Xampp which is Mysql, apache with php, and some other stuff I'm not using. It's very simple to set up. You will need to port forward 3306 and 80. You can have risks but there is always a risk when you have your pc connected to the internet. lol. Yea dyndns will be needed so you don't have to worry about the ip changing. Don't forget to allow connections in your firewall.
have to tried freemysql.net and it works, simple register an create a db Have too engage a bodyguard for my router^^? i mean security risk at my webserver not private pc , en external connection @mysql not so goo, i think ^^ because i'm hosting some websites about the Plugin: it works fine on my Desktop big thanks for the great work. The APP: wisper would be notified at my desktop, because in the android app only the nick of the wisperer is shown but not his message, on refresh klick the app crashed
Hello as i said the app is buggy i know it was just a speed programming, the new Version which is on my phone is much better and working smooth.
Meh i just used mysql because I am pretty used to it. I've taken some database classes at school so I'm decent with it. I would setup a password on the site for the web interface. I can't get that working but haven't really tried. Android app works kinda, it's buggy, I'm looking forward to the next update. Great program. I wish I knew more about programing for ios I would make the iphone app for you. My be time to learn just for this lol
Im having some problem with the webtoon 1.3.3. The toons name is showing as a tab but there is no information in the tab. Just some default stuff. The Monitor is working fint. I use freemysql.net as my db and it connects fine and everything. I have a local Wamp installation. The plugin doesnt complain: [WatchMyToon] - Loading .... Do I need to add some extentions to the Wamp for it to work?
you are saying webtoon... Ok, how did you install it. Did you use the zip file on the first post? If so that has been replaced by a crude installer on one of my previous posts, check that out. Ok you installed Wamp, I am assuming you mean xxamp ? So you are using your local machine to host the website? I will have an install our later today / tomorrow to check dependencies. In the meantime you will have to look for a windows version of "git" and use the installer i posted as mentioned above.

Still doesnt work. Still the Monitor works. Strange. The AndroidApp did work. I just tested it in a firewall enviorment. Its just the page does not work. Might be my WAMP installation. I will look in to it and tell you if I find anything that is wrong. Ty for the help =)
I have added these dependencies to the new installer PHP > 5.2 PDO zlib JSON git If you can confirm all of these are running on your WAMP installation, I might be able to help you some more.
thanks for the update because now i dont became any notification at my android app :/ only see the yell/say tabs. notification only comes when the app run or also the app runs in the backround? an rotate option and /leave app are nice i mean wenn i turn my cellphone on the side the app also rotate regards
