Started an improvements/tweaks/suggestions thread. Here are some improvements i would like to see. If you have purchased for ONE session of BuddyWing and for various reasons we all know BuddyWing crashes a lot and bugs out and needs restarting for the authentication to recognize that there is only one session allowed and kill the previous session automatically so that we don't have to constantly manually frustratingly always go to BuddyAuth to kill and kill and kill and kill and kill and kill and kill the session over and over and over and over. It's like I'm going to get RSI. Same thing for the three sessions in BudyAuth, the longest running session should be prompted to be cut off for the new session and that way the person can decide what to do before authenticating. Random jumping for the bot when not in combat. Once every N distance traveled, jump several times. Just STOP moving completely for N Seconds. Jump on the spot. -- Optional check box in the Settings tab. A selection (if possible) of emotes to trigger, again..at random. Reasons: Why would a bot jump, it wouldn't. Thus making it look less like a bot ( I'd hope ). Also, jumping is wizard and all the cool kids do it. Jumping can also help stop the bot from getting stuck on small obstacle. Also, if the bot jumps if it's found stuck from the Stuck Handler, people may not look at you so dodgy if you're trying to jump over an obstical rather than just 'running' into it as if it was not there. IMPROVEMENTS SUGGESTED BELOW IN NO CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER OR PRIORITY. Auto kill session on new login authentication. Emotes triggered by the bot at random or selection from settings tab Random jumping of character check box from settings tab GUI to show XP Per Hour GUI to show death amounts Setting to stop bot after a defined amount of time Companion Missions Emotes when buffed by someone other than yourself, possible thank you replies etc to look less like a bot. Buff the friendly target back. Class quest only profiles
More GUI, with xp per hour, death amounts, section for mail to, shut off after so long, hmm hmm *ponders*
My suggestions would be: - Fix the issue with the computer needing a reboot after a session of BW has been closed down - Fix the issue where the bot does nothing at all on Ilum - Fix all other issues After that maybe think about enhancing or expanding stuff. As it is now I can't use the bot at all, there's been ups and downs but mostly downs since the first time I started it.
My bot works on Ilum except for a crate or two it doesn't click. I don't need to restart the computer after a session of BW has been closed down. All I do (If i need to, is delete the ENTIRE BuddyWing folder and extract a new one from the downloaded zip and place the latest WingIt inside the Routines). Could you be more specific with the improvements too please. I want this thread to be precise.
Standard Helpdesk answer #31: "Well, it works for me" The fact that you don't have the problem doesn't mean it's not there.
Could you be more specific with the mail thing? I'll add it to the suggestions list I have from the top thread.
I do have the problem where BW becomes unresponsive and super buggy after closing a session, but I don't go into the effort of rebooting my entire machine. I delete the entire buddywing installation folder and extract a new one. <-- That doesn't imply the problem does not exist. Thats me saying it does exist, but here is how I get around that issue for now. Any more ideas on possible functionality (once bugs are fixed which are causing usability problems) ?
My addition when everything is fixed, would be when someone buffs you, you emote thank you or bow and possibly buff him back... Looks les bottish to be buffed and just run along...
Im working on warrior class only quest now. Check in profile section. Plan to do rest when get done if enough request.
Some of the stuff, like jumping and emotes, are things the community should create. The community seems kinda small though. Idk if anyone has trying doing dungeons with WingIt... When I worked on my own CC, I had bugs where my toon would just take off running when the tank pulled certain mobs. My toon wouldn't stop running until said mob was dead. Stuff like that is really annoying. A botbase with ZERO movement and ZERO targeting would be amazing. Combat bot is not that.
LazyRaider is part of WingIt now, it's still in the works but you can disable combat, disable moving and a 'burn' is on its way to being added for the lazyraider too. Is this the kind of stuff you mean?
I was hoping to eventually write my own CCs. My highest toon is 32, so finding a way to level is really my first priority.
i'd really like inquisitor/sorceror class only quest. i hope you make that one next. i saw that you were working on warrior.
He is making inquistor into the questing profile. But I plan to rip them out and put in only quest when he is done. *evil grin*
Would be nice if the class specific quests were separated. I think i'm going to grind my way to the top. It's working pretty well so far. Getting cool gear, decent xp, and too much baby sitting really. Just gotta revise the profiles a little as I go.
