I was wondering, Whats the easyest class to bot? What dies the least and has the least amount of bugs?
A ret paladin is hands down the easiest in terms of survivability and damage dealing if you are farming. Even in lvl 88 blues a paladin should have no problem farming all of northrend. For leveling, shamans, druids, paladins are pretty easy, both have good mana pools and can heal themselves fairly decently while being spec'd for dps.
I have to agree with most of these, ive only botted a few characters, and only maybe for 1 or 2 levels, but definitely a paladin with good setup of CC's they can be extremely efficient and slightly more human. The paladins seals and judgments will heal itself/restore mana reducing downtime, and the ability to heal itself + it does a decent amount of damage. Good luck
I really enjoy botting mages because: they make their own food - dont need to restock or spend money on food or water they can port anywhere really, dont have to wait for hearth to get up and they have a water elmental that you can glyph into to make it permanent at level 50
why have no one mentioned rouge? ok serious, paladin is the most retard proof class and therefor the best class to bot as
loads of people say pally but i timed pally for 1-20 (6 hours 30 mins) hunter 1-20 (5hours 45 mins) thats just 1-20 though and i didnt include the stopping time for my hunter
Well after doing this a couple times I seem to think Paladin > DK > Druid > Warlock. After that its something wtih shaman, hunter etc etc. With a good hunter CC you can pick up multiple targets easy for your pet and nuke them fast. I like all thought right now I am doing a rogue druid combo RAF and it works well. Even with old CC's and HB 1.3.3.
I'm curious... how to Warriors, Shaman's and Rogues fit in to the mix? Those are the current 3 that I want and am trying to level up. I already have a lock, pally, hunter, dk and druid. My rogue seems ok so far, but he is only in the low teens. I've botted a few shammys on other programs and they always got their asses handed to them. That.. and I hated doing the damn totem quests.
Well I am using a Rogue and Druid currently. I like that they both can stealth and dono just like both classes. However if you do not have access to 1.3.3 the older version of Glider before HB2 then you are screwed. Since the HB2 seems to be bugging with RAF right now I decided to revert back to the old HB and it is working great. I am using the Bride of Death CC for my Druid and the combat rogue one which is now combined in "The One" CC however it has not come out. So unless you have those two CC's w/ HB1 you cannot RAF Druid and Rogue right now... As for the working of a Rogue Druid combo...they work well, actually really well. I had the druid spec'd feral and the rogue combat. I just decided to see how the dps would be with a Moonkin aka Balance spec druid instead and I lost a little bit of time, dps is still good but the boomkin runs out of mana pretty quick. I am going to keep with balance just to see how it plays out. I would say this combo is awesome. And when new CC's and a new HB2 gets released it could be an excellent combo! Now however I had to make do with what I had and it is working, though not as well as it could. Btw THE ONE CC I want you. And RAF friendly HB2 I want you too.
Dont touch rogues and mages with ten foot pole. The One CC is vapourware atm so it doesnt count till its get released.
