      I've been watching this run for a little bit now. Its awesome I was so sick of sarkoth, gold is good and all but I want to wake up to the chance of a 5 billion dollar item not a set amount of gold each morning. (unless ofc I'm broke then AGB time)

      The thing I've noticed is something that I do in my manual runs, in a given area there is normally only "1-2" or "2-3" elite packs. Say I've cleared 30% of the area and have killed "2" or "3" packs I move on. It's about chances at this point the chances of finding another pack are low and I'll probably only find one more if there is one at all. However if i move to the next area I know my chances will be reset.

      So my question/request is to add a function of the profile or a new plugin that essentially says/does.

      Entered world area A
      Have killed X Elites in A
      Move to B
      Entered world area B
      Have killed X Elites in B
      Move to C
      ...
      ...

      I'm not sure this is possible but it would be nice to not spend the last 5-10 minutes in a world area killing regular mobs. If not possible I will still happily run this profile thus far it's my favorite thank you for the contribution to this community.

      Stormshield is generally overpriced, just look for a +block shield with your stacking resists to start, you can get them pretty cheap

      I strongly recommend adding a pathPrecision of between 1-2 to every moveto command. This will help reduce problems with DB sometimes trying to, but being unable to, match exact decimal locations.

      pathPrecision set to a minimum of 3-4 in more open-map areas is also a good idea.

      A higher pathprecision set to 5 up to 15 in rare circumstances where a large obstacle sometimes spawns and sometimes doesn't, can help alleviate stuck issues with these unusual map spawns - but needs testing first depending on the map area.

      Looking forward to the next version of this profile! :)

      Trying to get around DB's rubbish unstucker getting stuck at this location. It's last waypoint is "Scarry Place 4" which I think is on the red-dot. The bot runs down the stairs ahead of the waypoint when it sees a shrine or a monster down there. After dealing with the monster/shrine, it gets stuck trying to go back to the last waypoint, and the built-in unstucker runs backwards and forwards over the arrow, forever. Perhaps either setting a very low kill and loot radius when going near those stairs and back high again after they are clear might help, or a path-precision of 15+ on scarry place 4, 5 and 6? Or just wait for a DB improvement to the unstucker. The unstucker seems to have no path-finding logic at all right now.

      I'm working on a "perfect" profile...
      ...but i'm not sure it should be a public profile or not

      If someone wanna help, i need these things:
      - screenshot of maps
      - marked places with champions
      => please a "clean" screen and an edit one with some kind of mark on the map with the spawn-position of the champion-pack
      => plz do screens with 1920x1080 if possible (if not, its no big deal)

      I alrdy started to do this shit, but it's rly time-consuming :(

      I know some of you gonna help me, would be awesome!
      Btw... PM plz!

      @GilesSmith
      I know this spot... :(

      @mridontevenknowu
      That's not possible for the moment i think, but i think you get my idea of the request from above

      i prefer skiping that part. i just remove "walking around in graveyard"

      <!-- WEEPING HOLLOW - Take Teleport to Graveyard -->

      I'd love to help, but as you can imagine I have my hands absolutely full with the various plugins I'm working on.

      I firmly believe in making everything public though;
      1: Whatever you find, somebody else will find anyway.
      2: It allows everybody to work on improving it, add to ideas etc. - even if 95% of people are leechers, so what, be happy so many people like to use your stuff, I always am! :D
      3: You only keep it private if it's something that's really detectable by Blizzard. I don't think your profile is anyway, and I'm sure any new ones will be just the same - undetectable. You won't add any security by keeping it private.
      4: Keeping it public helps encourage you, and the DemonBuddy guys themselves, to keep working on making things impossible to detect as bots!
      5: If everybody kept things private, we'd have no community and we'd have no plugins, routines or profiles. We all use and rely on eachothers work, and releasing things encourages other people to also release things! :)

      I hope other people can step in and offer to help you though - perhaps take a map-zone each and work on perfecting your own map-zones, rather than one person try to do all the work. In the meantime, I'll keep working on plugin releases for everyone while enjoying your own work! (your profile is the only one I use now on all my bots, I very much appreciate the work!).

      I'm not sure if packs have a set spawn location do they? if it can be confirmed that they do it would certainly be worthwhile to document each and every location.

      Could we not have a plugin that tracks the location a pack is initially found at?

      Well my guess is that its rather "zones" that cant spawn champions instead of zones that does. So what you would like to find is all those zones where you never wanna go because it simply cant spawn champions there.

      If Blizzard is following something close to their logic for Diablo II, then each group of monsters has a set chance to be spawned as either a Champion or Elite pack (the percent increases with each difficulty setting), and they purposely inflate this chance in certain areas (like the spot right outside Leoric's Manor). They also have the game spawn at least one group for certain dungeons and levels (like each of the 3 cemetery crypts, all of the "optional" dungeons, etc.

      So some of the packs can be expected in certain dungeons, but they wouldn't have an exact map location because they are a random chance from normal monsters.

      Giles, is there an easy way to just have the bot not use Shrines at all when running this profile until DB gets a better internal path system? It seems like the vast majority of spots where it gets stuck are because it tries to get a Shrine.

      Yes but it won't fix the spot I screenshotted, as sometimes monsters lead the bot down there too (though shrines is most common). The only real fix is to avoid those common stuck areas altogether until DB can improve the basics.

      To make my ignorestuff plugin ignore all shrines though is easy if you want. Open "GilesIgnoreStuff.cs" in a text editor (eg notepad). Find this code;
      Code:

                      // This isn't a shrine or it is but it's a +experience shrine
                      if (!thisname.StartsWith("Shrine_") || (thisname.StartsWith("Shrine_") && thisname.Contains("Enlightened")))
                      {
                          bRemoveThis = true;
                          bLogThis = true;
                      }

      And replace it with this;
      Code:
                      // DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE EVIL WORLD OBJECTS
                      bRemoveThis = true;
                      bLogThis = true;

      The comment line is important. The plugin will crash your PC if you don't have it exact. With exactly 5 DIE's etc.

      I believe this is probably an accurate statement. However I don't think it means its entirely impossible for the system to work with something like what I think 5avage is going for.

      You need to register and have one post to see spoilers!
      The marked mob spots would stand for a location with a normal mob spawn rate of 75%+. The bot would instead of uncovering 100% of the map uncover 100% of the locations where a normal mob will spawn 75% of the time. Granted this would require a decent amount of work to obtain reliable data. However once done this profile could be amazing beyond what it is. Not to mention create the framework for later profiles in other acts. Obviously this only works with non-random maps.

      {art work is ? of "Total Newb Industries Inc LLC Inc 30 seconds ago" AKA jackinoffagainwhyyouwatching?}

      Below is an edit to original post.

      I did a little (I stress little here) to get this process started. What follows is a map of The Weeping Hollow with mob spawn locations.

      You need to register and have one post to see spoilers!
      This document can be further improved upon by going to this LINK. If we get 10 people to do this 2 times a day for 5 days it should give us plenty enough data to get started. It wont be the most accurate data but at least we can rule out areas not worth checking at all.

      These are the maps I have started some are further along than others. If no help is received I don't plan to continue just FYI.

      Use The Weeping Hollow as reference for filling out the rest of them. This is a public project as long as it's neat do what you think is best. Google keeps back up's so we can revert back.
