Today i got banned for GM Defraud. I didnt get hacked, it was my fault for reasons i wont talk about. Has anyone ever been banned for this and gotten it appealed? Is it able to be appealed at all? Let me guess you ran away and stole everything from the GM Bank and yes you do get banned for it the rest of your guild would be placing a ticket up for you, Ive seen alot of GM's get banned for doing such things
Heres what the ticket descibes it as: "Attempts to defraud a GM include, but are not limited to, misdirecting a GM's attention, withholding information, providing false information, and any attempt to trick a GM."
Probably he tried to boost 2 characters with SoR. Or sent items to another char and told him, that he deleted them accidently. Has to be something really stupid and I don't think that you can appeal. Sorry for your lost account. Hopefully not your main.
Similar thing happened with my friend He Tried to dupe his items by doing sending all his items to his sor account then say it was hacked then Ticket a GM to replace them on his account. A week later he was banned for the same reason as skeleton. If you did this you could appeal and ask what did you do You could also say a sibling did it and you didnt know about it.
remove the GM's name if you want any chance of an appeal since you need to assume they check the forums and can make a good guess that, that is you, because it has his name on it.

I don't believe that is true, well, not in the US anyway. Blizz has said many times that a guild bank and all of its contents in fact belong to the owner of the guild.
So you tried scamming some stuff and got caught. Sucks, but I guess that's what you guy for playing with fire. Hopefully not your main account mate.
So heres an update: I unsuccessfully tried to appeal my account twice. Yes it was my main account because im retarded. I sold my level 25 guild, because Blizz was actually nice enough to pass guildmaster too a different account, and hope to use that money to purchase a new account and start playing again. I got banned for duping my items by saying i was hacked. It worked once, I tried it again, and i got banned. My "friend" who i sent all the items to, for the dupe, kept it all, the 317k gold and many other items, ignores me and anyone who isnt on his friends list and refuses to give it back. Im gonna miss that account. It was one hell of an account. Just remember folks: BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT!
When you say friend i take it you mean an in game Virtual Friend? If not go round his house and give him a slap and tell him he gonna get one everyday till he gives your stuff back.
^^ this i would gank him irl and camp his spawn point for the next few weeks, that would teach him. is he a virtual friend, those do not exist, do not trust any so called friends ingame. I wouldnt even trust real life ones telling what i do in this game tbh, it only takes --> <-- to make it your worst enemy tbh.
Some do but they are extremely rare. Sounds like an utter d-bag, if you have any mutual friends I'd suggest letting them know what kind of guy he is.
It was stupid. I did it the first day, and it worked. I really love having a lot of gold. And it would've boosted me to 600k. Blizzard found out about this and bans anyone who does it..so don't go do it now.
