Been playing the beta and i'd say making a bot for GW2 would require a massive amount of time and resources on HB's team, the combat is prety different from wow's and other mmos.

would love to see BuddyTeam make a bot, yeah it will be much more difficult than WoW/D3, but if anyone can make a great bot for GW2 it is BuddyTeam. DB was fantastic for D3 and I'm still keeping my account active even though most of my acct's were banned, not DB fault just us using obvious profiles (8s Sark runs, 3000+ runs a day? come on). Come on BuddyTeam, lets get some GW2 action! Good luck.

As you can see, CodenameG said they would develop it if there's a demand, and I'm sure there are many people here who would like to see GW2 bot, since most of us think it'll be profitable (at least in start).

Yet, I also saw Tony's posts saying that they will NOT develop a GW2 bot. So I'm thinking, what's the truth ?

the truth is, that like with everything its best to learn from the decisions you make so you can make better ones in the future. we learned a lot from rift and from swtor both games where outside of our normal realm of WoW and we learned a lot from both. like i said before if there's enough demand and our core developers feel the game has enough potential to sustain a player base and that we could make a product to answer that demand then at that point we would. its not a yes, its not a no, just its not feasible for us to tell you anything at this time. because look, i came on here and said "YES we are making a bot for such and such" then people are going to start wanting dates, and its just going to snowball out from there for people who want a bot for a product that isnt even out to market yet. so again, its not yes, its not no, just its a possibility we are looking at.

I would be interested in approximately ~30 copies of the GW 2 bot, however I feel that DB was released a bit too late, think it would be possible for you guys to start the project like right now in beta?

Should have ramped up my DB copies into that region until then aswell. BUsiness is just starting out :)

      Edit:
GW 2 is a long time game aswell since it has no subscription so regardless of what they do you would have potential customers for as long as the game is in store.

I played the game for a few hours last night ... and it was kinda boring (please don't flame me about that - it's what I think).

      What I liked:
Graphics were pretty damn good, they were not cartoony wow crap gfx
      cutscenes were cool
some of the personal quests + events were cool (but long)
      Water was really cool
Multiple wpns + multiple skills per weapon was pretty awesome (even though some of the spells sucked)

      What I didn't like:
shit hit too hard, I died often
escort quests suck, and there's a bunch of them
events with gameobjects were kinda bleh
event mobs don't spawn fast enough and it's not 100% clear where mobs spawn from (or what npcs you have to talk to / spar with, etc)
      events were wayyyyyyy too long
some quests were way too long and / or hit too hard / too many mobs that resulted in death
I had to walk around too much (yes, i know there are instant-ports, but even w/ those it was annoying)
The Grove (main city) had 3 or 4 levels (height wise) and it wasn't clear where my quest npc was and the exit was hard to find if you forgot what level you started on
It was not always 100% clear what I should be doing (I did personal quest with events along the way)
Leveling up takes too long / quest and event rewards don't give enough xp
I feel as though this game is very multiplayer dependent for leveling up (which requires you to either grind mobs or events to help you get xp for your quests), which I don't like.

I still don't know how I feel about a bot for it though. Grind / farm / gather bot would be easy, a quest bot would be a pita if we died while on a quest. I'll leave my vote neutral and let Apoc decide

For lots of players GW2 is DAOC2. DAOC was/is the best pvp game ever made. With their scenario WvWvW they are coming very close to what DOAC used to be and game will be played and bought by lots of players.

I have 6 copies of DB and i know for sure i will buy 3-6 copies of "War Buddy" if it will be live and if my pc could handle the multi boting too.

      Fingers crossed
