hi guys, most important things first: i do know botting is a risk, i do know to not bot with an account i do not want to lose, and all other similar wisdoms! so i do not need troll posts like: - botting is never safe - do not bot on your main acc, until you can handle it beeing baned - polar bears get brown when they wallow in mud or other useless posts... all i am searching for is experience from swtor bot veterans, so i can get a feeling on how bioware is monitoring playtime or not... so i appreciate posts like - i do bot 24/7 for weeks now no ban - i am botting 14 hours a day and got banned - i am playing 5 hours a day and botting over night then, still no ban or any other helpful information and i do not care on buddywing experiences only, if you are using pixelbots or other proggys, i am fine with that info aswell, just do not name them to match the forum rules, but telling me you bot with buddywing for 4 hours and then doing spacebot missions for 20hours for example should not violate the forum rules and would be a great info. thx in advance for all helpful feedback.
I run 2 accounts. (Not at same time since can't atm due to bugs). I always have one going if possible. When I'm home to where can semi babysit, I use BW, when at work or sleeping I use pixelbot. (Which for some reason its hit or miss on it, sometimes runs flawless all night, while other times crashs after 20 missions). So basically I try to have at least 1 account on non stop, no problems, no bans. At one point for a test to see how fast can level a toon from 15-50 I ran pixel bot space missions 24/7. Got to 50 in 7 days played time. Had it running pretty much non stop.
I run a very similar setup to In2fun - I run 2 accounts also, Babysit Buddywing until Lvl 15 and use a pixelbot AFK from 15-50. Only thing stopping me running 24/7 - crashes while sleeping on the odd occasion. I'd say my uptime is 20 hrs a day and no bans so far. Maxxed out multiple characters and farmed millions no trouble at all. Imo, Space Missions are the safest way to go as no other players ever see you.
I dont know about anyone else, but i have 3 accounts and can only run 2. there has been a bug with the bot for a while now and still hasnt been fixed. yes i have posted my logs multi times for this issue, Hope Space comes soon because i let sub run out till it does.
24/7 is never a good idea, from what I've read people have been banned for botting after 160 hours non stop. Watch out for player reports too, some people seem to add suss people and see them on their ship all the time and report them. Just what I've read on ownedcore, personally I might bot for 24 hours then have a 12 hour break then bot another 10-12 keeping it sorta random.
most pixel bots crash after a few hours so it's kinda hard to mantain it for alot of hours continously.
The client crashes you mean? And there's a fix for that, worked for me anyway, I can go 24/7 non stop if I want to.
Delete the "retailclient" folder in your swtor folder and then choose to repair your installation from launcher. For me it's something like: program files\origin games\old republic\swtor\retailclient.
