I read on page 6 there was a reference to the generic route, but I couldn't seem to locate the code. Thanks Can anyone lend me a few helpful tips on handling arcane? I'm using debuff Evasions plugin, and I always end up dying to any of pack with this particular affix. I'm sitting @ 1050 all resist w/ 1200 as Arcane resist 34.7k Hp 7K armor 18 AoC 40% Crit. 175 LoH
It's quite a waste tbh. I got 80 AP for botting and it's enough if you got enough crit +APoC. If I die it's only because the bot isn't spammy enough.
For boting I would currently recommend ~10 (and that is what I using). However. If we get a fix that makes the bot attack much faster 15-20 APoC might be needed. But for now the bot just isn't fast enough to use all the AP anyway.
i cant get the generic settings to show up.....like 5th time reinstalling DB, I click generic, i click start/stop, then settings, and nothing shows up any help on this?
I hate this problem too. Join a game Hit start, wait til you use the waypoint and then hit stop. You should be able to see the settings now.. Has anyone Crit mass profile with this yet?
So I have been running my Wizard build for awhile now and feel pretty good about it. Only die about once every 2 hours or so. Mostly due to shielding/frozen/molten combo right when I killed a couple tree's in the area also. This is the build I am running Here are my stats and my Generic Routine The Generic routine seems to work much better than Belphegor. The biggest problem is that the Generic Routine is too stupid to use health potions. So you need the Debuffs Evasion for it to use HP potions but it works well. Wicked Winds does ok damage but it really shines in the fact it last 6 seconds after cast and you can have multiple going at the same time. So you are constantly getting crit procs to keep diamond skin going and your LOH at 400 is perfect. The really high overall HP is more of a safety net than anything else. Explosive Blast - Chain Reaction and Diamond Skin both don't have casting motions so they don't interrupt anything. You do need AP on crit though. I would not go below 10 at any cost but 15+ is the most optimal. I pretty much plow through everything with this. A properly tuned Belphegor routine would make this viable for Act 3 imo. The entire build is similar to what I run on my main. With enough crit chance you can pretty perma freeze everything all the time. But currently Belphegor won't cast more than 3 Energy Twisters at a time making it worthless. Noticed with the newest DB there is a Wizzical Wizard CM combat routine but I can't find anything about it. It didn't work me. It moved but did not attack anything. Thanks for help tips & images. When you use the debuff evasion, do you disable everything but the Hp? I noticed I don't die as often when I have the evasion disable. Also, what loot rule are you using with GilesStash. Anyone else having issues where db just stops after the inventory is full instead of placing items in stash and continuing with the runs?
No, I use the Debuffs Evasion but honestly that stuff doesn't really kill me. The trees seem to kill me when I am frozen more than anything. I stand in while picking up loot. I used to have problems with full inventory. I did a fresh DB install with the newest giles stash and the problem went away. But that was .185 not this new DB with it's own set of problems. Also, with Giles I use 61 and up Blues/Rares. Just sell the stuff that is not stashed.
Is it just me, or does it often just spam the winds ontop of itself? Im not dying, but against some ranged packs, it feels incredible slow :s
i have a problem with my generic routine. It doesnt attack, it runs to enemies and stands and get killed, i've reinstalled db a few times also and doesnt seem to fix, Maybe a plugin messing me up? im using debuff, giles item--monster--stash--worldobj--, profiler restart and unstucker.

oh i got the settings, its just not attacking, iv got the skill set up also for when to use and what not.
Guys what do you think about this spellsetup instead? With the Electrify rune on Magic Weapon, it should be ALOT of crits or what do you think? Wizard - Game Guide - Diablo III
electrify doesn't proc crits so it is pretty much useless. I am running this build I am using Generic with Energy Twister and Diamond Skin running on no cool down. The main thing is that Diamond skin is up pretty as much as it can. I have nova/explosive blast on enemy's near set to 1. This makes it so Energy Twister is cast the most but once enemies start getting in range it starts going off non stop. Which is what you really want. This is where you do all your damage. Mirror images is set to go off every 7 seconds because this is how long the spell lasts. The mirrors do multiple things. One, mimics can cast nova and freeze enemies which is huge. They also take a lot of the shots from ranged enemies. The nice bonus is when mirrors is cast it kind of kicks you back. This is enough to kick you out of most descreator pools. Energy Armor is just set for every 100 seconds. Evocation is really optional. Could use blur or cold damage in it's place. I have a string of ears on wizard so don't need blur. I choose evocation to keep diamond skip up more often.
Seems silly, i did some research and people claimed that it did. They also claimed that the poison from magic weapon would crit. I dont really like explosive blast, tbh i think its shit. So im trying to find something new that will add some awesomeness to my wizard.

Do the one I just posted but instead of Explosive Blast use Wave of Force: Impactful Wave. Everything will constantly be frozen or stunned. WoF always turns back ranged like the stupid bees.
