Hi, so, the question to this poll is quite simple, i'd like to know what you guys think about
botting during their investigations and if we should or should not bot during the security
update and if yes, for how long.

Please share any opinion on this case ! :) feel free to discuss

I personally will stop boting for a week. Because of this, and because i also lost a few accounts that are now under investigation.

Stopping to bot is also a change in behavior and might draw unwanted attention to your account afterwards. As for me, I'll carry on as usual, with a decent amount of botting time.

WoW didn't get hacked, their databases got hacked. They do not need a patch for WoW, they need a patch for their internal network.

Yes, it is true that if we stop playing the char because of this ... it might not even turn in our favour ..

Hey, i just thought about it :p but we could almost use this to bot heavily for 12-18H / day, and if they catch you, tell them you got hacked and press on their security breach !! ^^

just change your passwords and you'll be fine, it shouldnt stop you, the only thing i would worry about is how they are going to implement the secret Q/A change when they decide to do it, my guess is if you dont know your old one your going to be SOL, and for people that bought accounts or dont have that information its going to be a bad thing.

I agree, it will look more strange if you stop at all, just go with the flow.

I'm with the majority on this, though the altered behavior could also be understandable to an extent. I'm going to continue playing how I always have. I have an authenticator, and my password is military grade. I change it less frequently than I should, but it does get changed quarterly. I don't bot on a hardcore basis like some of you do, and that's because I use my bot for playing assistance. I don't farm all the time, only some, and I use it for tedious and boring tasks like Archaeology. Most of the time when I'm using my bot it's for LazyRaider, and I will continue to do so.

What? It's not like Blizzard will be like "Oh look the bots aren't botting anymore what's going on?"
