[A+H Fly - Quest] All Zone OCD Quest Completion Profile [IN DEVELOPMENT]

Honorbuddy version support: Latest - The goal of this Project is to keep it with the currently released Honorbuddy version

What is planned for it to do?:

The "All Zone OCD Quest Completion Profile" is planned to be a questing profile starting at level 1 and ending at level, whatever the max is at the time of download and beyond, with flying support, BoA support, auto equip support and all the options in between for you to choose from, but not stopping there. Keep a particular set of items from certain quests to fill up your bank, IE: soft pillow. The plan is to have It complete every quest in every zone that it can, starting from your characters starting zone following that logic for the entire continent. While this is happening we want it to explore every point of every map location to get the explorer achievement in the zone. We want it targeting critters and loving them that need /love. We want it killing those that need to be killed. We want it fishing up your fishing skill while doing complete zone quests for the luminologist and oceanographer achievements. Why stop there though...We want it to purchase pets and do pet quests per zone if it can. grab whatever mounts it can by zone as well. Pick up the crate to find fish, kill what rares it sees for achievements. Also while leveling, once it can be obtained, grabbing archeology and doing it on the fly while gather, while leveling and posting up the goodies on the AH.

This is going to take a long time to complete and the scope of the work is huge. I will be making this look as real as possible and as fast as possible without weird side pathing mechanics or glitching marching.

These profiles will only support the English client.

WHY ON EARTH DID YOU DECIDE TO DO THIS STUPID INSANE AND AWESOME IDEA OF A PROFILE​

I want to.

Starting Todo List:
Items - Determine which items have certain value ( such as transmog ) to keep as the bot levels. - IE: unique visual items you can only get questing.
Professions - Incorporate leveling of achievement specific professions needed with the zone completion process.
Quest behaviors - speeding up the accepting and turning in of quests
Movement - defeating the bots natural trend of walking places most players will not go <-------------
Movement - via CTM finding a way to make the turns/walks smoother
AFK - making the profile 100% afkable
Actionbars - Set the bot to assign all "common sense" active abilities to hotbars ( this is a personal OCD thing of mine )
Windows - Set the bot to auto create a guild and a whisper window automatically to track information as needed ( this helps me personally avoid screw ups )
Options - As many as possible.


Bugs so far -

Schedule? - Shotty at best. When I started this thread I had oodles of time, and have been coming back and forth to the forums while side-tracking myself with real life.
I have been working on it. Every time I start getting into it I scratch it and start completely over. Eventually this will come to fruitition just not as fast as most people will want it to.

Testers? Not for a while.

Yeah that was actually the first thing I thought of after I starting getting into this. I figured I would start with each starting zone and branch from there, keeping a nice handwritten list of the breadcrumbs in and out. The one thing I will be working on is the settings of the pull radius and such and haven't been able to find anything about it. Is it possible to switch pull range settings on the fly? Y'know set it to 0 where I know I can slip a bot past a mob?

 

You may want to look at kicks profiles or my worgen profile for that information, and yes it is possible.

 

You follow my concern there right? Alot of profiles use yknow 20-30-100 settings for pull range and it's fricken retarded when all you have to do is go and scratch the worgens ass 5 feet away but you can't get to him because the pull settings are on generic mode rofl.

This is epic, assuming you don't burn out and actually finish this thing not only will I rep and hope the pope blesses your first born. I will do open up my coin purse and donate some cash miz oney . Sounds good mate hope you dont burn out.

 

Been playing since the first closed beta, Have done over 30,000 quests total across my toons before I ever joined the community and have been there through tons of nerfs buffs changes raids and love hate days of raiding. I don't think I'll burn out, I just think I won't get it done fast enough.

Best of luck mate. I will happily test some of these profiles out, as I have long wanted profiles for getting quest achievements on some of my newer toons.

 

Good, make sure you check back, I'll have a layout of what i want tested on the first zones which will probably be the starting zones.

 

I can serve as Ally tester, 4 heroic raiders and over 20 alts. I will also donate once completed.

 

I've been pulling all the quest info from wowhead and putting it into an excel spreadsheet by type of quest, any overrides, quest behaviors and logic already made for existing profiles, breadcrumbs, behaviors still required and assorted other miscellany.
I'm including dailies and other quests like the elders and summer fires.

It's taking forever.

Is this also going to max reputations as well?

look at my BlankQO (my svn / useful profiles / blankqo). it has most of what you need

it's all in the UserSettings.cs behavior file. I suggest opening up the behaviors and taking a look at all of the attributes that you can use

Yes. One of the things I wanted to do on the reputations side was have the characters, as they quest pick up everything possible we can think of in a zone while the character is there so they don't have to come back, or at least minimize the return requirement for something later on.
