Klovnene's guide to "the insane"

FPS Rogue works for pickpocketing.
Some of the things to think about too: Rep is gained at 110% with guild levels but lost at normal levels. So things bloodsail honored may not push you all the way to the bottom of hated with goblins. Even more so with battle standards.

For the goblins, pirates that give bonus to one rep won't push that rep all the way, hence the change in profiles. Fray Island stops early on Ratchet, Venture Bay early on Booty, Southbreak Shore early on Gadget, etc. If you plan to do cloth turn in's (which don't hurt achieve progress if you hit honored Bloodsail as many have said and are correct in saying), obviously do what's cost effective, but remember that Everlook doesn't have that many quests and doesn't really have a faster farm spot, so consider turning in Everlook Runecloth.

Another observation on Goblin rep is that Venture bay is even more amazing because it stays within 100yds and thus won't despawn a battle standard (more rep yay!). I had to edit the mob killing profiles for Ravenholdt as my previous post mentioned so the "horde" profile wouldn't do this either. Also, if you are so inclined, the "alliance" Ravenholdt profile is perfectly neutral imo and is faster killing since it's more in the open (just make sure you hit the stealths around the perimeter).

Also, the number of lockboxes isn't 1400 if you have guild rep gains. 21001/82.5 = 254.5 turn ins of 5 boxes = 1275 total boxes.

Finally, Darkmoon Epic decks will net you 385 rep (350 * 1.1) which is ~110 decks. If you are doing this many decks though, remember that there are 50 quests per month on Darkmoon Isle at 250 (275 with guild) rep each. Thats 5 daily quest games (8 days if you hit it up post-midnight on the first day before quest reset) for 40 quests, 9 item to turn in (buy off AH if you don't have 'em), and 250 grisly trophies for the total of 50.

If you do that math, you need 42000 rep total from neutral. Ignoring any "go check out the faire" quest rep gains, you can get 12500 (13750 w/guild perks) rep per month without a single deck! Thats only 3-4 months with just a few decks turned in without perks or 3 months (and 2 epic decks) for those with perks.

If you're like me and want to hurry but don't want to do 110 decks at the end of an xpac (since they won't sell... but hey, herbs are cheap!), you can do 73 decks with 1 month of quests or 2 months of quests and only 38 decks (assuming perks).

Anyway, hope some of this info helps out people calculate how much to farm... I started working on Insane 12 days ago and plan to finish darkmoon next month to save a few gold, but otherwise, all others are complete in a few hundred more lockboxes!

 

This entire profile is crap. I tired to use it for the rogue, bloodsail, and now SWC. They all ran around like a dumb ass screaming I'm a bot please report me. I have had to either use Kicks, which are always great or make my own....Wait I take that back...the profile to farm Ravenholdt until you need the boxes was perfect. The rest was trash.

 

I got my Insane title with help of those profiles except Darkmoon Faire Thanks to all profilwriters and who has contributed and also HB

 

this guide has been of service to many of us here.

did all my bloodsail by hand and the steamwheedle cartel with this profile. Great IMO.

edit: is it possible that the profile was working better before 5.0?

Is it possible, when the char is upstairs in the castle to cast Halo? I have no clue how to write this in the script :S
Would be over 550 kills per hour when it would work.

 

That would be in the Combat Routine, and not the profile
Or a plugin

I dont know if the Profiles will be still updated or not but just wanted to let yall know that the Northfold Manor Profile is not working, atleast not for me...HB keeps telling that its loading Profile but nothing happens.

Attach your log in the Support forum, and let's make sure its really a profile issue. It may be, but no way to tell without looking--could be an interfering Plugin or somesuch.

Hi there, i got a problem where it says [Singular] Singular currently does not support Combat for this class/spec combination, in this context! [Priest, DeathKnightFrost, Normal] what have i done wrong then?=)

 

Usual culprit is that the profile max level is set to 85 and your toon is > 85 - say level 90. Need log to know for sure. If this is the case just open the profile & change max level to 99.

 

Im doin the Steamwheedle Cartel reputation and im set at War with these factions. Do i need to turn off "at war" when i reach neutral friendly etc.?

nvm i dont have to do anything with the "at war" option.

 

Anyone got a specific rogue CC they used for this?

Also, does it pickpocket and kill? Just trying to see what should happen.

 

rightclick the profile-> edit.
then change max level to 91 (90 didnt work for some reason)-> save
restart hb and it should run fine.

 

Without reading through EVERYTHING on the forum, I almost have my SWC rep at exalted, and halfway through hated with bloodsail. Would you recomend that I finish out SWC and then go back to doing Bloodsail Rep? Or do bloodsail first, lose all my steamwheetle rep, and then do swc again.

 

By the way if you wanna be extra insane, don't grind booty bay guards till you get honored with bloodsail. Farm them till you reach 999/1000 exalted and then go raise your steamwheedle reps to exalted ontop of that.
Like I did a few years ago, lol.
