[Release] Demonbuddy - Sunny Monday build (#227)

all of my plugins are not working except DBenchancement, they are getting same error messages as above, it is probably due to this latest version of DB!!

 

its is what it should be because of new update as u guess it right

 

my bot keeps doing nothing once he get to split paths and keep repeating

 

Still doesn't pick up plans...I had this problem in last version along with not picking up yellows/blues occasionally. Could you take a look at it?

Ran into an interesting...behavior...running .215 this morning. Would attach the log but it seems the log file is now following the setting in the UI & defaulting to 'Normal', so I don't know how useful it would be. The behavior was after a TP, the toon just stopped. GPH wasn't moving, toon didn't move, after 30 to 40 seconds the window stopped updating, couldn't close it via the 'X' button. Had 5 stacks, so I didn't want to lose it, so manually took a waypoint to Zull. As soon as I zoned in, the bot started moving again. I TP'd back, then the bot picked up right where it left off, taking the waypoint to the next area it was supposed to go to. The 2 log entries around the 'pause' were:

I've switched logging to diagnostic and will post more info if it happens again.

Is there any way to get custom loot rules to work with this version? If so could someone direct me to the thread? I was using Salvage59-60SellEverythingElse(1).xml loot rule with .185 and really liked it. Thanks in advance!

 

Found the problem! McAffee was doing a deep scan There is still a noticeable amount of slow down on entering combat though.

 

wow, CPU and memory usage improved alot! it goes easy on my i7-3770 now so now it shuts down half of its cores.

 

With 215 my bot just randomly stops doing anything. I'm using act1 champ farming profile (without random dungeons) and it's working fine until it randomly just stops doing anything, not fighting and not moving.
It's not stuck and the log doesn't show anything, not even that it stopped. Moving the char around manually doesn't help, only when i press stop - start in DB it gets going again. Before the patch I was using 199 as i had the same issue when using 204.

edit: also crashing about once per hour with 215.

 

I tried some hand runs last night and I was getting the freezing then.
D3 would just freeze, especially in leorics dungeon.

Its not supposed to rain here till Saturday can I use the bot anyway

 

Generic combat routine has been broken. Did a fresh install and loaded up a sample profile with NO plugins. Bot just stands there in town using Generic combat routine. Switch to Belph and works as intended. Weird thing is with the generic combat routine there is nothing in the log. Like it stops after loading the profile. No errors just nothing.

 

this. also, one of my bots is crashing more often, trying to figure out what might cause the problem

 

hope the complie error for the plugins can be fixed

 

Well, glad to see at least you guys can use DB .215, I did a fresh install and once I select a routine D3 crashes so I don't know WTF is going on. Anyone else have this problem?

It's likely that most of the crashes are from plugins not being updated (yet), or from user error. Unless you really know what you're doing, you should start over completely from scratch and create a new DemonBuddy folder. Don't copy over plugins or settings - just start over. Download the latest versions of your plugins and try again.

Also, merely reporting a crash doesn't really help. You guys need to attach a log files or they will completely ignore your posts. Click here to learn how. And don't forget to turn logging to "Diagnostic" mode.

 

DB locked up hardcore. had to ctrl alt delete kill it. character just standing there in game. it shot up to 200+ ram usage (vs like 50m on the other copy i got running). Fresh install, no plugins enabled.

happened pretty quickly.. maybe 10 mins

there is an exception visible in the log window before i ctrl alt delete kill the process but it doesnt show up in the log file. Trying to copy paste it unfortunately the program isnt responding to anything... cant scroll cant exit cant do anything... (my other db crashed with same problem) i'll let it sit a while and see if it will ever settle down enough for me to copy / paste it

 

right.. 'user error'. somehow 'user error' is making a majority of people to crash every 10 mins, while no other update after a patch ever caused this 'user error'. apparently a bunch of noobs to the program just bought demonbuddy after the new patch and have no clue what they're doing.

 

takes several minutes to login, and then demonbuddy crashes.
did a fresh install but still having trouble.

 

As I stated above I did a fresh install, downloaded and copied new routines to folder, did not use any plugins, used default loot items, hit start, waited for "Routine Window" to open, choose Belgphor for combat routine and as soon as I do that D3 crashes/shuts down and gives me to option to tell blizzard what I was doing when the game crashed. Does it every time, have reinstalled three times now.
