See it everyday, people selling Hyacint Macaws for only 8k and other rare pets really cheap. Its sad really.
It's a free market if you don't like how cheap people are selling stuff at you can do two useful things: 1. Buy it and relist at a higher price. 2. Send the guy a message explaining why a low price is bad. Anything else is a waste of time.
Yeah, sadly, it's a free market and players can list things for whatever they want to list it as. Was told this exact thing by a GM in a ticket I opened a while back when a nutjob on my server buys everything and relists it at 500g and up, no matter what it is. Herbs, ore, greens, blues, whatever. His minimum listing price would be 499g 99s 99c, and I've seen him post epics at 49999g 99s 99c. He kills our economy on my realm, but there's nothing we can do about it except piss and moan and buy it, or go farm it ourselves. Usually, laziness wins out and we just eat the high price.
I love when people try to buy my items and repost them at higher prices. Before they can even buy them all, I am posting more. This late in the Xpac, you're better off farming instances and selling the loot for gold. Bypassing the AH and cheap prices and its instant gold. I have made 50k in last 3 days while testing my gold farming profiles.
I find the statement "What it should be" so enormously funny..... An item is worth what people are willing to pay for it. If there are more people offering than people buying the price will go down.... As has been said; this late in Cata, right before MoP, no one is interested in your raw mats anymore. No one is interested in BoE epixs and most definitely; since all mounts and pets will be accountwide in MoP, no one is interested in mounts and pets to the degree they were a couple of weeks back. Which means that prices have plumetted and will drop even further in the coming couple of weeks. Then they will go back up as supply will drop and demand will rise because of people leveling new professions. suck it up, change your strategy, do something else until we're a month or two into MoP and all will stabilize again.
people can list theyre shit for whatever they want. the thing that fucks me up is that i can point out the botters by looking 30 secs at the ah. some fuckwits are posting 15 x the same transmog item, 20 x the same darkmoon deck, 5 x the same epic craftable of any kind at the same time and then say, you cant handle the fact that im making more gold then you? No fuckwit, i cant care how much you make, i make even more and for sure have more then you will ever make in this game, i care cause its so fucking obvious your botting and by putting so much attention on yourself via such items, you focus it on others farming those items aswell. some people dont deserve to bot, they should be locked up away from the internet, this has nothing to do with being impatient or wanting to make loads of gold before mop, its totally clueless. On my servers 2 bank chars are battleling against eachother in the ah, fully automated, one post a shit item at 199.99.99 k, the other one lists it at 199.99.98 etc etc , another one posting gems only, being in a top guild, 1st on server and in the top 50 of the world, thinks it doesnt show hes using the ah bot by selling his shit aswell. Another one only lists gems at 200 gold each all day, even when competition is at 70 g. some people are just retarded, and those... even if i can help it, should be banned. this includes my rant for today, more to come, im here all week. /bow
